I found CGD on Angies list. Returned my call within an hour and had an appointment for the next day set up. Scott was at my house waiting for me when I got home at 3:27 for a 3:30 appointment. Did the work and told me the cables were fraying and it would be an extra $25 for materials only with no extra labor charge. Scott said he didn't have the $25 cables so put on the $50 part at no extra cost to me. I have no reason to doubt this was the case. I recommend CGD and if I have to I will use them again.

Scott called prior to our appointment to let me know he was running late which was appreciated. The work was done quickly and exceeded my expectations. There were several issues I was unaware of and he fixed everything without charging any additional fees. I would absolutely recommend them for any garage door issues.

I bought a deal on this website for a garage tune-up. They arrived and it turned out that my garage door wasn't in such bad shape. BUT, I have two garage doors so they distributed their services to fix up both of them. I can't comment if the price was good or bad since I didn't shop around. They were easy to work with and prompt.

Extremely helpful, knowledgeable service, at a very reasonable price - Nathan thoroughly investigated the issues I knew about as well as others he found, and he fixed them all at no extra charge. When we had an unusual circumstance late at night and couldn't close the garage door, he came by at 11pm to help us get it sorted out. We'll definitely turn to him in the future.

Nathan came out and immediately diagnosed my issue and tried to locate parts to fix (not replace) my 25+ year old door opener without success (parts no longer available). He then offered me different options for a replacement: what he offers, 2nd party new, used, Craigslist, everything. After telling him we were only interested in a new unit he mentioned that I may be able to save a few bucks if rather than have him install one of his units, I found one on my own, online or local store, that offers a package deal (multiple remotes, keyless entry pad, etc.) and he provided me with a few and brands to look for, and most importantly the ones to avoid. Once I found one he would install it for $100.00 flat. That same day I found an awesome deal on a Chamberlin belt opener at Lowes, Nathan came back out and installed it, using his own steel brackets (not the tin foil junk in the box) and performed a nice, solid, clean installation. I read online everywhere on how easy it is to install these yourself, but I also read about all of the nightmares involved with this project, and to not only have it done right but to have it done really well is easily worth the install charge. It took this professional who has installed 100's of these, well over an hour to complete the install and I could just imagine how long it would've taken me. Not to mention needing all of the right tools and quality materials to do it right. With a good name brand and a great install, this door opener shouldn't be a problem for another 25+ years. Nathan is a good, straight shooter who does great work, and just the fact that he looked for a $2 part to repair my unit rather than trying to push me into a spendy full replacement means volumes to me.

I was in need of a new garage door opener, and door repair. I did quite a bit of comparison shopping before choosing Creative Garage doors. In addition to installing the opener, the technician spent a lot of time correcting all of the issues with my door, and repairing the door track, with out a lot of  additional charges. I will definitely use Creative again for any garage door needs.

I have used Creative Garage Doors twice in the past 3 years.  The first time was to replace a broken garage door spring.  Nathan responded promptly to my call and arrived at the scheduled time to perform the service at a fair price.

Because I was happy with the repair work done, I used Creative Garage Doors again when I wanted to replace my garage door a couple years later.  Once again I was very happy with both the price and the service.  Several months after the installation was performed I called Creative Garage Doors to look at a problem where the garage door was not closing all the way.  They returned my call promptly and sent out a technician to fix the problem at no cost.  I would definitely use their services again in the future

I have a new house, my garage door opener was not installed correctly 7 months ago and the j-bar connection to the door snapped off. I called Creative Garage Doors and was able to get an appointment for the following day. Turns out that the handyman who did the original installation did not read the installation instructions and pretty much force the connection between the j-bar and the door. Nathan fixed the installation and explained in detail everything that he did and as well what was incorrectly done. Creative Garage Doors is an excellent service provider, I would call them again and recommend them to anybody with a garage door problem.

My garage door was creaky & noisy when they showed up. It was quiet & sealing better when they left. Pretty much what I wanted. They showed up on the day they said they would (working from home that day, so I didn't care or remember if they even said what time they would show up). I see the new rollers & they said they adjusted some stuff on the opener & track as well as cleaning up the track. Much happier with the door now.

Very fast to respond to initial contact. Arrived at my house exactly when he said he would (he also had an assistant with him).  Did a very thorough job of replacing both springs.  Was very professional and easy to work with.  Garage door works better now than it ever did in the past, and have had zero problems in the 8 months between the work and this review.

The repairman arrived on time, performed the service on the door, and left the place clean. The garage door runs much more smoothly and quietly, although there is still some minor squeaking. I was satisfied with the service.
