Residential and business water treatment systems. Water softeners, UV lights. We will analyze your water for contaminants such as chlorine, low pH, iron, bacteria, and devise a system to suit your needs. Treat your water from the source, as it enters your home, so whether you are drinking it, cooking with it or bathing in it, your water is pure.

"The process was quick and easy. I just provided a water sample. It was determined that I had high levels of chlorine in our drinking water. I was able to solve my water problems with only one filter. Why did I wait years to have this done? Now I can be confident that our water is safe. Highly recommended."

Golden Eagle Drilling has been constructing quality water wells since 1958. Over the years we have developed techniques that make for the very best water well possible. We are able to drill in formations that other contractors stay away from. Our techniques also help us develop all the water that is available - which is very important, especially in areas of low producing wells. Our fleet of rigs and support trucks are maintained to the highest standards helping eliminate on the job breakdowns. Our drillers have been with Golden Eagle Drilling for many years and take great pride in the work they do. You will probably drill only one well for your home, therefore it is important to get the very best possible results. We will not cut corners. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. If you are building a new home, or need to replace a well which is no longer producing, or is not up to acceptable standards, please call us to discuss your needs and for a cost estimate. Water Well Drilling Golden Eagle Drilling is experienced in all phases of water well drilling and installation for Colorado's geography. We have two types of drill rigs: The first is a rotary rig which uses a special cone roller bit attached to the bottom of hollow drill pipe that is rotated cutting the formation. Compressed air is forced down the drill pipe lifting the cuttings out of the well. The other rig is a cable tool which uses a large solid bit attached to a cable that is raised and dropped rapidly crushing the formation. The cable tool rig is used mostly on large diameter and commercial wells. Obtaining Well Permits Golden Eagle Drilling has trained professions who will work with you during the application process, to help you obtain the proper well permit.

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

If you have a small well or a particularly high water demand, it’s possible to overuse your well. How quickly a well replenishes depends on its water source. In this case, you may want to purchase a water storage tank that you can fill from the well in off-hours, or if you’re planning to build a new well and you expect a large water demand, you may want to build a deeper well to match your needs.

Sputtering water and a constant fluctuation of water pressure from your household faucets and fixtures are the main red flags that something bad is brewing with your well pump. The fix could be as simple as restarting the power or priming the pump, especially if the trouble is occurring after a power outage. However, if troubleshooting the power and pressure of your pump does not get things up and running again, it might be time to replace the pump.

It may be time for a well pump replacement if you notice some red flags, like a lack of running water when the pump should be working, consistently poor water pressure, or dirty water, which can indicate potential issues with your pump's functionality.

Well pump repair might be covered by your homeowner’s insurance, but it’s typically not. If the damage results from a major storm in your area, flooding, a fire, or some other natural catastrophe, then you should consider filing a claim for the damage. However, if the issue is the result of an aging well pump, your policy will very likely not cover the repair cost. In either case, you should hire a well pump professional inspect your well pump, and then use that information to decide whether or not you should file a claim.

There are many reasons you may want to extend the depth of an existing well or drill a new, deeper well on your property. A deeper well can tap cleaner water sources—shallow water may contain more contaminants. With a deeper well, you’ll also have an easier time reaching the water table depth (the level at which underground water is found) and can get past tricky soil conditions.

Plus, if your local building code requires a minimum well depth for safety and environmental standards, you’ll meet the code by digging a deeper well in the first place.
