"It’s incredibly hard these days to find a contractor you can truly trust. So many cut corners or try to upsell, but Juan and his team are the complete opposite. From the very beginning, Juan stood out as a caring, genuine professional who truly takes pride in his work. Every task big or small was handled with exceptional care and craftsmanship. You can see how seriously his entire team takes their work and how much they care about the final result. We hired Juan to redo our driveway, and it came out amazing. He also replaced our drainage system just in time for the rainy season, and after a massive storm, everything held up perfectly with zero issues. On top of that, he helped lay bricks in a circular pattern for a backyard firepit, built out an outdoor kitchen area, removed tree trimmings, cut down trees in our front yard, moved a ceiling light in our living room, added new electrical outlets, and even refinished and stained our hardwood floors. "THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We signed a contract with Yakov to design an ADU. He raved that his engineer was on his staff as an employee and that she previously worked for LA planning so she understood how to more efficiently complete plans to be done sooner. The mistakes and time in between for her to submit corrections were so long there was no reason for it. When we were given so many excuses I contacted the city myself to get a true timeline and found that the corrections were issued by city and they were very basic items that any engineer should not have even had an issue with and weeks and over 2 months would go by that she did not respond to the corrections. When we reached out to Yakov to get resolution he brushed us off and said we had to handle it with the engineer. He did not always respond to calls. I had to excessively call them both to get the work done. It was nearly two years of stress for the plans to finally be complete and approved with the city. Suffice to say we di"

"I'm so happy that I found David at CA Cabinets! He was here checking on the work daily to make sure everything ran smoothly which is rare for a contractor as usually they just come a few times during the process. Everything is beautiful and he went to extra mile to shop with me for the flooring tiles, quartz countertops, cabinets and sink. I'm super picky as an artist / former fashion designer and he was able to help me create exactly what I had designed. He had great ideas such as adding a waterfall edge to the quartz countertop and a window sill piece from quartz as well. This project was a complete gut and rebuild due to a dishwasher leak - homeowner's insurance claim. I was having issues with my insurance and David went above and beyond to help me navigate the insurance issues so we could complete the project. He is always very prompt and organized. Some of the other contractors that I had previously contacted could not even be bothered to give me a call back or show up on time to a scheduled appointment but David was able to meet with me right away and always notified me of the work schedules. Pricing was reasonable and in line with other estimates I received."
