But when I received the part from Amazon I asked them to come back to install it. Their office is only about a mile from my house in Fairfield, but the day they came they were working in Berkeley - obviously very popular! They showed up, put the part in, did a little troubleshooting, and we had a working fireplace again! She attempted to repair my garbage disposal unit but was unable to do so as the unit's wiring was worn out. I advised the unit is 40 yrs old. She recommended to purchase a new one. We made a trip together to the local Home Depot store and I purchased the same brand s she recommended. She installed it in record time (within the 2.5 hrs) and completed the job.
