"Oury at Universal Home Design did a spectacular job on the renovation of our condo in Pasadena. We completed two total bathroom renovations, replaced a fireplace, and touched up a variety of other small projects throughout the home. Oury set a fair price with a clear understanding that I would pay for all of the finishes (such as tile, vanities, faucets, etc...). I was out of town for the entire project, and Oury communicated with me every step of the way, always checking in to confirm how I wanted things done and sending photos as each phase of construction was completed. He and his team were quick, efficient, trustworthy, and they paid attention to every detail. The final product is beautiful. I have never had such a wonderful experience with a contractor, and I can't recommend him highly enough!"

"Nathan impressed from the time I first met him. He was far more professional than other contractors in terms of describing how his company works and what I should expect if I worked with him. He also has a nice showroom where you can look a variety of cabinets in different styles and colors as well as countertops. We ended up getting a countertop that he suggested. We would never had picked it on our own but it ended up looking amazing in our kitchen. We had him do a complete remodel of our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. The guys on his crew were always prompt and showed up as scheduled. His foreman was both a good communicator and listener. Whenever we ran into an unexpected issue, they communicated clearly what additional costs would be involved (if any) and how much additional time it might take. The cabinets he installed were custom made but did not cost more than the pre-fab ones you can buy at the large home improvement stores. They are of high quality and well constructed. I actually saw his cabinet guy using a small caliper to make sure the door distances from the cabinets were all even! Lastly...here's something you'll never hear about a contractor...he finished AHEAD of time! Nathan's company are straight shooters and very skilled craftsmen. I would work with them again."

"Prior to engaging the professional services of INA Kitchens, we did a large due diligence, and we met with 4 additional home remodeling companies that ended up with 4 different estimates of our remodeling project. After we met with Eran, we decided to select INA Kitchens for the work. Eran is a truly professional and skilled person with no nonsense of any kind. "I honestly don’t know where to begin. Working with Mike and HIC Builders to remodel my kitchen and bathroom was an overall amazing experience with so many positives. It was my first time remodeling my house. There were so many aspects of concern and stress. From the very first meeting with Mike, he completely put me an ease, and talked to me in detail on what they could do and the approximate price point. Throughout the initial phase, I contacted and met with over 6 different companies, and of course, the estimates that I received were all over the map. He went into revision mode and was quick to come up with an alternate plan that we could do now that my budget had changed. That really impressed me. His ability to maneuver and work with different financial circumstances while maintaining a high quality of work. It also showed me that he cared about my project, even after the scope of the work had become smaller. I now know he has many projects going on at any given time, but you wouldn’t have guessed it by the attention and excellent communication he provides. I never felt like I couldn’t reach out to him for questions (and I had many) or clarifications in each phase. For me, choosing the right contractor came down to trust. I was remodeling from out of town, so I couldn’t check in on the process on a constant basis. Mike kept me informed every step of the way and eased my anxiety if anything popped up. If an issue or potential issue came about, he would bring it up to let me know this or that happened, but then he would tell me that it was no problem to deal with, and provide a solution as how he planned to work around it. The entire process was always transparent and clear. I could go on and on about what sets HIC Builders apart, but I hope this gives you a snapshot on why they are the right contractors for the job. I have zero complaints and they went beyond my expectations. Best of all, the end result looks like a million bucks."
