Technician Steven was on-time and listen to my concerns. I have a large home and my backyard has lots of spiders and ants that needs regular maintenance.
Steven removed all cobwebs which our previous pest control company would never do. Our yard is mostly concrete with a pool. Steven arrived with a truck mounted sprayed and he did a great job at spraying the entire perimeter of the house including where all cements join together as that is the gateway for ants.
I watched and everything he said he would do he did and more.
I purchased the bi-monthly deal and this is our first treatment. Time will how well things work out or not, but so far and at the start everything went great and am happy to recommend them.
"A yard worker walking on the small hill near the sidewalk in front of our house stepped in a yellow jacket nest we didn't know was there. These pests are mean suckers. Another worker who was close by was bitten twice by these pests and they buzzed around him as he ran up our 42 front stairs. (He's OK and was not bitten again.) We'd used Eloy's services once before to remove a yellow jacket nest half-way up our steep front hill and were so impressed by his work that we called him right away and he showed up less than 2 hours later to remove the nest. He warned us there could be some cosmetic damage but we told him we didn't care. And it turned out that the white coated hole he left is a barely visible disruption to the patch of ivy and is actually consoling to see as proof the pests are gone. We've used some great contractors from Angie's list but Eloy is the best of the best: price, quality, pride in his work, punctuality, integrity, personableness?. Recently we recommended him to a friend who used his services and who was equally impressed. And not motivated just by money but more by building his business and doing a great job, Eloy stopped by a few months ago to advise us on a potential yellow jacket problem near our back yard barbecue and he didn't charge us for that visit. And this time he advised us to put up some yellow jacket traps to gauge the extent of the problem in the back yard. We bought a trap at Home Depot and hung it last night and this morning there were 15 dead yellow jackets inside. We'll be contacting Eloy again soon to see if thinks we need to hire him for his undetected nest removal service where he hangs containers with a poison that the yellow jackets bring back to their nests. We trust Eloy to let us know if we should use his services for this or try to handle it ourselves.

"I called the exterminator who had done the previous work, and unfortunately found that he had passed away in the interim and another company had taken over his business. They came out and inspected and gave me an estimate for the work. I then called Hi Tech for a second estimate based on their recommendation in A.L. and their proximity to my house. Hi Tech did a complete home inspection and their recommendation was considerably different from the other company and half the cost. They proposed injecting a localized pesticide and microwaving, and they said that removing sheet rock and sub-flooring (as recommended by the other company) would be unnecessary given the age of the infestation, the age of the construction, and the type of pesticide that they would use. They explained that the pesticide that they were using would not be detected by the termites, so the ones that survived the microwaving would continue to eat the wood and then take the pesticide back to the queen and other members of the colony eventually killing them. They backed up their work with 3-years of annual inspections and a warranty that covered any future evidence of termites anywhere in the house. All the work was completed in a little over a half a day. The technician, Jason, was prompt, courteous (a quality shared by the entire staff that we dealt with at Hi Tech from the receptionist to the inspector), and informative. He worked at a steady pace, laid out clean canvas tarps to protect our carpets, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed, and sprayed both the attic and crawl space with Timbor to repel future termites. In time we'll see if they were able to truly eradicate all the termites, but for now I can say that it was very satisfying to deal with such a professional company. Highly recommended!"
"Luis and Mike did a great job helping us to treat termites in our home. We had 2 different kinds of termites and Luis and Mike knew exactly how to proceed.
The gentlemen are knowledgeable, efficient and very patient in answering all of our questions. And they continue to be responsive to our follow-up questions.
I highly recommend this pest control company."
Bed bug extermination costs between $1,000 and $2,500 on average. While the price is often relatively steep, this is the best way to eradicate a bed bug infestation as soon as possible. Your total extermination budget will vary depending on the treatment location and the infestation’s severity.
While cats are great at rodent control, it is their second nature to use the soft dirt of your garden as a litter box. This can lead to the contamination of your food and the spread of disease in humans.
Preventing rats and mice from getting into the attic can be challenging, but it’s not impossible. Here are a few steps you can take to keep them looking elsewhere for a new place to call home:
Block or cover any potential access holes
Keep piles or stacks of firewood or other materials away from the house
Seal food and garbage in containers to prevent rodents from chewing through or getting in
Yes. Cellar spiders are predatory and feed on other insects, including other spiders. They eat flies, mosquitos, gnats, moths, and larger prey. That larger prey includes venomous spiders like the brown recluse and the black widow. Basically, a cellar spider is pretty brave and will feed on anything that gets into its web, no matter the size.
Having bugs in our houses is quite normal. However, if you notice a sudden uptick in quantity, there's often a reason behind it. Seasonal weather changes, particularly warm to cool, drive bugs indoors as they look for comfort. Structural damage to your home can open up new ways for them to get in, and a new water leak somewhere in the house can invite them to get comfortable.
