"I rarely leave reviews, but this one’s earned. LA Landscape and Sprinkler Pros were a total class act. I needed a full sprinkler system overhaul and wasn’t sure what to expect but they showed up on time, stayed organized, and didn’t leave a speck of mess behind. The owner walked the property with me after everything was done, made sure I was 100% happy. He even gave me tips on how to keep things running smooth. Felt like working with someone who actually cares. I’ll absolutely be using them again."

Customers say: True professional

"Leo was very helpful and quick to respond. We’re happy with how our 2 bathrooms turned out. Project was completed within the time promised. Our only complaint is that the workers did not clean up very well. But overall, we’re satisfied and we’ll use them again."

"Legato landscaping installed a bubbler system for my trees over the span of more than half an acre of established garden. Not only did they competently install the plumbing, they preserved garden. After the trenches were filled, you could not tell that they had just been dug. Since then, all my trees are thriving with adequate water and Legato love and attention to detail. We are so lucky to have them !"

"Carlos of GR Brothers Landscape was hired late December of 2024. As of October of 2025 I still use their excellent service. Carlos promised me that I could expect a two man crew every week and that they would do a dedicated job each week to give my property a manicured look. He also promised to be communicative and attentive to all my needs. He has in ten months been good on all of those promises. I just needed his help with a situation on my property and like always he answered my call and came out to my property on the next day to take care of the problem and took care of the situation. He will always reply quickly to your concerns and take care of business. Excellent work done every week. I recommend Carlos and GRBrothers for their Landscape expertise."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.

You can paint over lead paint, or “encapsulate” it with a special paint that includes an ingredient called an encapsulant. The EPA approves encapsulation as a lead paint removal method as long as the paint remains undisturbed. Standard types of paint without an “encapsulant” from the big box stores or hardware stores do not meet EPA standards for remediation of lead-based paint.

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.

Professionals are trained in identifying hazardous materials and utilize industry-approved methods for safe handling and disposal. They adhere to regulatory frameworks to protect health and the environment, ensuring all materials are disposed of safely and responsibly.

Disposing of old paint, bleach, oil, and fertilizer should be handled by a company that specializes in this kind of waste. Many private junk removal companies do not dispose of these items. Because these materials are hazardous to the environment and dangerous to handle or dispose of improperly, you should confirm with your local municipality about places to take hazardous materials for safe disposal.
