"I wish they had a 10 rating. PLEASE read this before you choose a pest control company. I had a little problem with mice. Now the mice weren't in the attic or foundation, but one of my cute little kitties was bringing them in as gifts for me. Four within a matter of minutes. All alive!!!! I always pick 3 companies when I need something done. I had two come out and Pestcal was the third. Now, you have to understand, unfortunately, when many contractors come to the house and see a little old lady, they think they can take advantage of her. The first company that come out, and they have great ratings here, told me I had rats in the attic, that there were droppings every- where in my house and that the job would cost $6,000. The second company came out and I was told the attic was fine, no problems up there but I had several areas in the foundation that needed fixing. To do the whole job would be $2,500. Then came the third company, Pestcal. Norman was great!! He actually checked the attic, not just poked his head in....no problem up there. Then he checked the perimeter outside...couldn't find any issues out there either. He said there were a couple of areas that could use some attention, but nothing major. Maybe a couple of hundred dollars. FINALLY, AN HONEST COMPANY!!!! Their priority is doing the right thing for the customer. This is the kind of company you want to hire for any work you need done at your home. I'm not going to name the other companies for several reasons, but I don't think Yelp allows that. I just want to reassure you that this is a legitimate review. As you can see by the other reviews the customers are extremely happy with Pestcal."

"I highly recommend the courteous, professional and knowledgeable staff at Cleargate Pest Defense, including Gerald, Jorge, Nick and Andy. They were all very informative and helpful and always accommodating. I heard shredding noise one night above my stove and knew it was not right. Next morning I called maybe 5 pest control companies and Cleargate was the only one that would come that day. They discovered that a rat(s) had gotten into my attic and had eaten through my Range Hood vent ducting and it was a mess. But they calmed me down and set about capturing the rat and sealing up all possible places it could have gotten in. Over the next month they caught 3 rats total and came back every week, sometimes twice, to check traps until several weeks went by without any activity and they were confident my problem was solved. They then sanitized my attic and gave me a 1 year warranty, all for a very reasonable price. I will now only use Cleargate for any type of pest control and as I said above, I highly recommend them."
