"We have been very happy with the work Mr. Castillo has performed.  Our first priority project was to replace two sections of fencing to accommodate a large dog and small child - both of which need to be contained to their yard.  We also had a broken post.  Mr. Castillo was prompt in completing this project and we are very happy with the results.  Our entire family can now enjoy the yard at our new home.  

Following the fencing projects Mr. Castillo spent nearly a week in and out of our home prior to our moving in.  We had a 2-page list of mostly small projects to get the home ready for our family.  These projects included adding a section of tile near the front entry (which was beautifully executed using existing tiles we found in the garage), and replacing the backdoor, which was completely rotted due to rain.  Mr. Castillo pointed out to us that the lack of rain gutters above the door was contributing to the problems with the backdoor and in addition to replacing the door he added rain gutters to alleviate future problems.  We are very appreciative of this attention to detail and foresight.  

The list of indoor projects Mr. Castillo completed was lengthy and most were projects we could have tackled ourselves but having someone around to help allowed us to focus on moving.  For some projects, we purchased the supplies and for others Mr. Castillo purchased supplies and provided receipts for reimbursement.  

We agreed on a price of $30/hour for all projects other than the fencing, which was $600 plus material costs.  

I have no doubt that we will keep a running list of projects and when the list is long enough we will call on Mr. Castillo to return to help us out.  He has been a calm and friendly presence amongst the chaos of our move.  He is professional and prompt, and has been very respectful of our home.  I look forward to working with him again. "

Rather than just blindly doing the work, they pointed out potential issues before the problem surfaced, allowing us all to coordinate workarounds and solutions so that our schedule wasn't impacted.
My impressions of the builders began when the first arrived for a quote. They asked the right kind of questions, were organized, were thoroughly engaged, had a sense of humor and took ample measurements to provide an accurate quote. Incidentally, the estimate they provide for time and money was spot on. They hit their estimated schedule; any delays were caused by mutually agreed upon scope increases. My first impression was reinforced throughout the job.
Throughout the job I was impressed by their attention to detail and their work ethic. Both builders strived to do the best they could do and minimized the need for rework. During the rare instance when rework was necessary, they approached it constructively and worked with us to ensure that we were happy.
The bathroom looks great! We love it and feel like it is our own private spa.
I would definitely hire them again when we build our new house or for any other additions or changes at our existing home.
