"It was a great experience with these guys Humberto and the guys did an amazing job , They did the entire drywall on my house we had a water leak throughout and it was disaster he replaced 39 sheets and taped them , he did all of the texture involved in it and prime and paint . Overall great experience they showed up on time every day and cleaned up after themselves .Great quality control I would definitely hire them again . To paint the outside of house"

"Bluestar construction was originally hired to do the restoration in our condo due to water damage in our unit and others on our floor. We were so impressed we hired them to also paint other locations in the unit as well as to do the composite flooring in the entire condo, including labor intensive removal and disposal of tile. While you can put new drywall over old drywall, it’s not always the best option. In some cases, drywalling over drywall can make it harder to find wires and pipes behind your walls and conceal more serious problems with your walls. It can also make the room smaller. On the plus side, putting drywall over drywall can improve soundproofing and insulation. Plus, it’s often less expensive than tearing down and adding new drywall.

If you don’t have studs in the area where you want to install your TV mount, you may still be able to install a TV mount on drywall. The easiest way to install a mount on drywall is by using drywall anchors—but not just any plastic anchors. Choose molly bolts or toggle anchors, which have a weight capacity of around 50 pounds. For added support, consider pairing drywall anchors with a wall mounting plate. Extra heavy TVs may need to be mounted via the ceiling joists or beams.

It’s not a good idea to plaster over broken plaster (unless by broken you’re referring to cracked, in which case that’s perfectly fine). However, broken plaster can be a sign of a larger underlying issue like foundation damage or severe damage to the lath holding up the plaster, so it’s worth investigating before you simply plaster on top of the damage.
