"While in the middle of a hose renovation project and spring cleaning I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the things I had to get rid off and didn’t know where to start. Giovanny came in and in one trip took all of the house hold items I needed thrown out and all of the building debris from the demo he even swept out the area. It shows that he takes pride in his work, not only that he is very friendly, professional and patient."

"Rich provides me with the best customer service I have ever experienced and always available for me when I had questions. Very thorough, knowledgeable, supportive and caring. When I've followed up with phone calls asking questions, Rich took the time to answer them and explain to me in detail. Rich is coordinating with my mold remediation company to ensure it gets done right. He truly cares about people and their health. We have special circumstances here and I feel I have someone on our side! If you ever have a need for this type of service, I highly recommend Rich. It doesn't get any better than that. If I can give him 6 stars, I will. Rich, Thanks again for all your help."

"Jeremiah came out and tested the air and moisture and other items to determine if I had mold in my basement. After getting the test results there was evidence of mold and he recommended a company that provides a do it yourself kit for mold remediation. (Not cheap). After getting the items and realizing that there was more work, it would have been better for me to let my insurance company handle this as I do have coverage for mold/fungi. Though having a professional do the work is expensive, from what Jeremiah mentioned, it does not guarantee that the work will be complete or the source of the problem taken care of. He mentioned most companies will take care of the mold but not necessarily the cause of the mold. For this I would have to contact another company."

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

Mold is very likely if you do not take action to fully dry your home within around 24 to 48 hours after water damage occurs. This can happen even faster in warm, dark locations with extensive water damage. In areas of the home that receive ample sunlight and only have slight moisture issues, it can take weeks for mold to appear.

Actually, removing mildew from your front-load washer is simple. Wipe down the gasket with a cloth and use Q-tips and a toothbrush for the hard-to-reach areas. During this cleaning process, use a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and water to combat any mold.

You can also try running a hot cycle with a 1:1 mixture of one-quarter cup of baking soda and water in the detergent dispenser. But if mold growth is severe, it’s more efficient to install a brand new seal altogether.

The most common reason for a smelly dishwasher is a dirty dishwasher filter. The filter is responsible for catching food while your machine is running to prevent clogs. Over time, that filter gets more and more filled with food particles. Cleaning your dishwasher filter monthly can keep the smell at bay.

The safest way to neutralize bleach for disposal is to mix one teaspoon of sodium metabisulfite (also called disodium disulfite, pyrosulfurous acid, and disodium salt) with 2 1/2 gallons of water. Then mix 1 gallon of this solution per 1/3 cup of bleach. But you still must handle and dispose of the mixture carefully.

Black mold and wood rot are both types of fungi that thrive in damp areas, but they are distinct issues with different consequences. Wood rot specifically refers to the decay of wood caused by fungi, which compromises the wood's structural integrity. Black mold, on the other hand, is a fungus that grows on the surface of materials, including both rotting and non-rotting wood. The primary difference is their impact: wood rot affects the wood's structure, while toxic black mold is a health hazard. Inhaling black mold spores can cause severe respiratory issues, whereas wood rot spores are generally not harmful to people. Because mold can grow on rotting wood, the two issues can be interconnected, but they are not the same.
