"I have interviewed a few contractors. I clicked with Noe because it was clear to me that he knows what he is doing, and he looked like a good character person, with integrity and also modesty. The cost of the job was a fair one. I am extremely pleased with the job done. Noe's team is very qualified, they know what to do, and they find pride in doing it very well. They are courteous and hard working. The job took two weeks. My major problem were the big cracks. To fix them, they broke the concrete to go to the rebars and refilled with concrete. Noe was working together with his two people. They also installed new drains and connected them with a new skimmer. New tiles were put. Also they changed the copper plumbing, creating three new return lines, and put deck o seal around the pool. Noe is very thrustful and accommodating person, whatever he does he wants to be perfect, and the customer to be satisfied. The pool looks like new with the fiberglass and the new tiles. He gave us a 15 years warranty. I would gladly recommend Noe to whoever needs to fix their pool. Ours is now a jewel due to Noe's expertise and work well done."

"The crew was a bit late to get started, but did a good job once they arrived. They carried my stuff up to the 3rd floor since the elevator was very small.
Had some trouble putting the bed back together but overall a fine job. Some damage to my items, but don't know where along the line that happened. It could have happened in transit.

Consuegra Tub Refinish has over 10 years of experience refinishing porcelain bathtubs, fiberglass tub, kitchen and bath counter tops, sinks, shower pans and ceramic tile countertops and shower walls. Additionally, we do major fiberglass and porcelain repairs on weak tub bottoms and shower floors.\n\nBathtub refinishing also known as bathtub resurfacing, bathtub reglazing or bathtub re-enameling is the process of refreshing the surface of a worn, damaged bathtub to a like-new condition. This process typically involves repairing any damaged areas. Chips or cracks are repaired using Bondo or another type of polyester putty. After repairs are made the surface is prepped with an acid etching and ready to add the primer and porcelain paint. Once dried for 48 hours is ready to use.

"The concrete and gate install went relatively quickly. The patio cover required permits which took some time. Once received, the patio went up quick and the planter brick repair was also quick. Overall a good partnership that I will hire again."

"I need this job done on a rush basis. I was aiming for 1 week and they claimed that they can deliver. However, it took them an extra four days.
some problems with this job.
1. Subfloor joist and anchor ( 6 x 2x6 and 4 concrete anchors); Some miscommunication happened here where the plywood floorboard was installed before concrete anchors supports were installed.
2. Whatever you want to call it, I was at the job site every day, and the workers are late. Foreman could not be be found until the last phases. Everyone was confused about the job.
I payed my schedule on time and promptly,

"They started on time and kept to the terms of the contract. Rafi, the owner, was on site every day. He definitely has the eye and the knowledge to know what looks good. He also knows design trends so that the result looks contemporary yet timeless.
The work was performed with minimal disruption to the household. They moved all the furniture and put it back in place. I had bagged many items that were sitting on the floor and they disposed of the bags for me. The also hauled away old furniture that was bring replaced. There was no extra charge for these services.
The floors are beautiful. They installed the wood laminate on the stairs as well and it looks great, with bullnose on the stair edges.
Everyone who comes to the house comments on the floors. And the laminate has a wonderful grain in it that looks identical to real wood, but no scratches from dog and cat and it really seems impervious to everyday traffic. It requires very little attention to keep looking great.
All in all a very professional job, finished on time with a great result. They even kept an eye on the pets so they didn't run out of the house.
They have done other work for me, including putting on a new roof and cleaning up a room where water had come in from the ground in a heavy rain and then installing a drainage system so it hasn't happened again. They also refinished the ceilings in several areas of the house, taking out the "cottage cheese".
I've been very pleased with the results of the work and the manner in which it was performed. I will definitely continue to use this company for future work."

"Overall work was excellent. Ismael showed up on time to do estimate. His team showed up bright and early to do demolition work on the yard to remove the old hedges and lawn as well as other unwanted plants/trees. They also removed a concrete slab along with a the old metal and wood 'mickeymouse' pergola built by previous owners. The demo team was quick and effective. They removed all the debris. They then came back during the week and started the concrete work at the garage entrances. The concrete at the entrances was higher than the actual floor of the garage so they used a jack hammer to remove part of the concrete on the garage floor and then laid concrete including rhubarb to make a small ramp creating a smooth transition when you drive your car into and out of the garage. They removed an old chain link fence that ran along side the full length of the driveway. Thinking ahead, they made sure they blocked off part of the neighbor's yard in a way that would keep the neighbor's dog from getting out. The wooden posts of the new fence they were going to install were set in concrete so they had to carefully remove remove existing concrete and then dig deeper to set the posts in. The fence was to be 6 ft tall and they gave us options on how to arrange the slats. We went with horizontal slats on top of each other without gaps. They stained the fence dark brown as we instructed and it looks amazing. Installation of the driveway gate was perfect. The gate about 7 to 8 feet wide and has an iron frame. Vertical slats were placed on the front of the frame and then the wood was cut to form an arch at the top. They then stained the wood using a more transparent color of brown. It looks beautiful. They then installed a compact motor that can be controlled with a remote. Ismael referred a specialist to install the safety sensors. Everything works fine. They quickly built the 8ft tall pergola with wood posts set in concrete. They stained the wood the same as the fence. It looks fantastic, especially when the put the grape vines, complete with grapes, on top. By the way, when the did the demo work of the other plants, they were careful not to destroy our grape vines. The installation of the concrete tile work went off without a hitch as did the install of the ficus perimeter and timer irrigation system. There were a handful of changes from the original plan but Ismael was very flexible. We had a written agreement detailing the work to be done along with pictures to ensure that our ideas were properly expressed. Ismael was very pleasant to work with and I highly recommend him. He and his crew are knowledgeable, friendly, skilled, and don't waste any time. We will definitely call Ismael for any other landscape work."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.
