"Luis arrived promptly with a smile at the end of his workday to check on my emergency situation right after we communicated. He was quick to alleviate my stress with an informed plan as soon as he evaluated the problem. Although he had limited time on that day, he fixed the most important detail there and then, so that the issue was no longer an imminent problem. He then returned the following week and relocated the equipment, reconnected everything and got my pool up and running. He explained everything thoroughly, made good suggestions and we had a laugh. He charged me a reasonable price inclusive of both visits. Professional, knows his trade, pleasant, fair and prompt. Hire this guy!"

"The crew was a bit late to get started, but did a good job once they arrived. They carried my stuff up to the 3rd floor since the elevator was very small.
Had some trouble putting the bed back together but overall a fine job. Some damage to my items, but don't know where along the line that happened. It could have happened in transit.

"The Job went great from start to finish. Scott was our main contact and he was very involved in the project from the beginning. The work was done on time and in a very professional way and the end result is a pool that looks brand new! All of the workers that worked on the project were polite and courteous and the work area was cleaned up after each work day. I would not hesitate to recommend Aqua Concepts."

"As soon as the contract was signed, Rick scheduled the work quickly. He came with his workers and remeasured everything. We discussed the design and he gave me some catalogues to look at designs. I selected a combination of two designs. Rick and I discussed the finish on the railings and I selected black. The railings were installed. There were a total of three different steps, each different from one another. The railings in the front of the house needed to curve with the conture of the steps. One other was just a straight forward design which was straight. The final set went in an area where I plant my vegetables. The railing needed to be spaced so I could still have access to work in the garden yet allow safety on some very steep steps. The work was completed within a few days after starting. When the final coat of paint was finished I was not completely satisfied with the finish. Rick came to inspect the work and was not satisfied either. He sent the painters back to sand and repaint all the railings. He suggested instead of the black an antique bronze might be a better choice for color. He was right. I was very pleased with the final paint.
Rick has completed several projects for me and I have been very satisfied with all the work.
I will call him again when I am ready for my next project.

"John was available to start the work on a Friday afternoon. He installed the new outlet competently and completely. However, John made three trips to Home Depot to pick up supplies. The store is only 2 miles from my house and the first trip took over an hour. He needed to come back the following morning to complete the work because he needed two longer screws. Finally, he had quoted $200-250; but charged me $300 because the "supplies cost nearly $100.""

Consuegra Tub Refinish has over 10 years of experience refinishing porcelain bathtubs, fiberglass tub, kitchen and bath counter tops, sinks, shower pans and ceramic tile countertops and shower walls. Additionally, we do major fiberglass and porcelain repairs on weak tub bottoms and shower floors.\n\nBathtub refinishing also known as bathtub resurfacing, bathtub reglazing or bathtub re-enameling is the process of refreshing the surface of a worn, damaged bathtub to a like-new condition. This process typically involves repairing any damaged areas. Chips or cracks are repaired using Bondo or another type of polyester putty. After repairs are made the surface is prepped with an acid etching and ready to add the primer and porcelain paint. Once dried for 48 hours is ready to use.

"The concrete and gate install went relatively quickly. The patio cover required permits which took some time. Once received, the patio went up quick and the planter brick repair was also quick. Overall a good partnership that I will hire again."

"I could not have been happier with the work that ESI did on my home, which included a full kitchen remodel, vaulting some ceilings, and installing 3 skylights. The end product I received was better than I dreamed it could have been. Their whole team is very professional and I got along with them very well. They were always on time and communicated things to me regularly throughout the process, always asking for my input on decisions but also giving their opinions when asked, as well. I actually missed having them in the house working after they were done!!! They are a bunch of great guys and true professionals. If you ever need help on a remodeling project, give them a call!

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.
