The architects interviewed me, reviewed my preliminary ideas for the remodel, then provided a preliminary design which contained additional ideas to enhance the final look. They provided computer graphics showing what the finished look would be which were valuable in finalizing the design. Construction drawings were prepared, ready for the permit process, and also a target cost estimation which I used to evaluate contractor bids. As background, I had ordered a heavy armoire desk that could only be delivered at the point of entry of our home (due to Covid restrictions) and yet needed to get up a steep flight of stairs...and I could not do it myself.
