"We had 5 companies bid for this job. Jesse B. from Joe's Paving took the time to listen to what we wanted and did a great job explaining the scope of the work required. The project was a long narrow driveway shared with two other neighbors. We had to do a combination of concrete and asphalt because of the grade in the drive. They coordinated each section well and worked ahead of schedule. Jesse also helped arrange delivery and installation of rocks for ground cover near the asphalt around our house. Crew was courteous and professional. Thank You Joe’s Paving!"

"Best company to deal with for landscape projects. We saw them work on our neighbor’s front yard and were impressed with the attention to detail. We contacted Coastal Pavers and spoke to the owner Steve Lawrence, who promptly showed up to give us a quote for our project. Steve is an amicable fellow—laid back and easy to work with throughout the process. Tell him what you want, and his company delivers. His crew (led by Fernando) is a hard-working group. They show up on time and clean up after themselves. They are easy to talk to, too, which we really appreciated. About nine months after my project was completed, there was a little bit of touch up that needed to be done. Steve took care of it with NO QUESTIONS ASKED and no charges. Lastly, the price: Coastal Pavers was very competitive. They are licensed and bonded, too. We wholeheartedly recommend this company!!!"

My planting beds were cleaned out, weed barrier installed and new succulents planted. They worked with me on design and planting. They also re-installed stairs to allow access into my canyon lot. Finally they installed a retaining wall to support my mature sycamore tree that is on a slope and also terraced above the tree on the slope. The workmen were efficient and friendly. "Mike inspired immediate trust with his knowledge, thoroughness and honesty about the project. He sharpened his pencil to meet a competing bidder who did not inspire confidence, and his bid was almost a third of another bidder who came in with lots of bells and whistles. He and his crew showed up timely for the work, and were very friendly, courteous and professional. When an unforeseen issue arose, Mike didn't seek additional compensation, although I increased it voluntarily as it was a shared oversight. "As our project nears completion, I wanted to express how impressed we have been with the quality of service through Del Mar Landscape. After 30 years, we completely reconfigured our front yard with a low maintenance/ water usage design. New lighting, porch tiles, and walkways were incorporated. "Our yard was filled with uneven dirt and bugs before SD Premier came along. Now that the job is done, we love being outside every day! They did our yard from scratch (design, hardscape - pavers, landscape - turf, plants and lights). Not only does our yard look beautiful during the day, but it's even more gorgeous at night! All the lighting / uplighting is more than anything I even imagined. Emily walked us through every step of the way. First, the consultation. We talked about our style and our vision. Something low key and an area for our kids. As we walked through our space we talked through what we like to do (hobbies, for fun, and our lifestyle overall). We initially wanted to do concrete, but after meeting with her and doing some research we were sold on pavers. Then (still during the consultation) we walked through paver options. She brought a few different books and left them with us to look through & review after meeting with her. A few days later we got the proposal. We reviewed it in detail, asked all our questions and decided up upgrade our options! We figured "do it once, and do it right!" She came back with an updated proposal, we signed and hit the ground running! The team came to measure, demo, cut pavers, compact the soil - you name it! They did EVERYTHING. What I loved most is that there was a specific person / team (or person) specialized in each piece. So if the pavers needed to be cut, the right team came to do that. Then when it came to putting in electrical, we had an electrician do that. When it came to landscape (planting, soil, etc) - we had a landscape person do that, too! No shortcuts here! Everyone was on time everyday and they made the time count. No slacking, no excessive breaks - just some dedicated people passionately doing what they love. From start to finish, we were done in about 1 month! That's amazing for a 1,170 sq foot job. Lucky for us, we found Emily by way of a neighbor who had hired her to work on their yard. The stars aligned! We couldn't be happier and love our yard so much. Our kids love it even more! Emily is amazing and a true gem. She is consistent, communicative, creative, passionate and she / her team are some of the best we've ever worked with! We couldn't have gone with a better company.
