Mike inspired immediate trust with his knowledge, thoroughness and honesty about the project. He sharpened his pencil to meet a competing bidder who did not inspire confidence, and his bid was almost a third of another bidder who came in with lots of bells and whistles. He and his crew showed up timely for the work, and were very friendly, courteous and professional. When an unforeseen issue arose, Mike didn't seek additional compensation, although I increased it voluntarily as it was a shared oversight. After a recent, less than satisfactory experience with another contractor, Mike was a breath of fresh air, and I highly recommend his services.

Was to be an extensive concrete ramp & steps with brick inlay and bordered by brick retaining walls. Very professional start with large competent crew, heavy machinery. Concrete was poured & paid for 7/19/24 with restart planned in 4+ days. Then nothing. 8/2 "Truck problems". 8/6 still no cleanup, no progress or plan forward. Front walkway/door inaccessible. 8/10 prelim notice from unpaid concrete supplier. Contractor finally shows up again - bricklayer quit, can't find another or a subcontractor. 9/6 release from concrete supplier and an employee sent to do some cleanup. Agree to close out contract for $16,000 paid with no retaining walls, slots in ramps for inlay brick still needing grinding to proper depth, no banister on steps, major cleanup undone.

M. Cooper poured a 700 square foot concrete slab/driveway in front of our house, including forms and rebar. The crew was professional, price was fair, and results were excellent. Mike remained on-site throughout the evolution, including returning for control joint cutting after the slab had hardened enough. Would definitely hire Mike again. Highly recommended!

I needed a cement contractor to pour and finish the concrete on a zig-zag design wheelchair ramp. I had already done the excavation and built the adjacent block walls. Mike's team were doing a much bigger job on a house down the street, so I asked if they could fit in my small 2-day job. They gave me a fair estimate, showed up on the days agreed, understood what I wanted done, and did an excellent job with no delays or problems. I recommend them.
