"I have worked with Skip Murphy on a purchase and a sale during the last few years have been consistently impressed by his honesty and integrity, his knowledge and skill as a real estate broker, his professionalism, and his ability to work with people and make things happen. The following thoughts about a recent listing and sale should help understand why I think so highly of Skip. I found him to be exceptionally skillful and professional throughout a long, drawn-out (multi-month) negotiation that could have and probably would have failed if he hadn’t been involved. There were many instances where the buyers were making unreasonable demands and we were prepared to end the negotiations. Fortunately, Skip convinced us that it would be better to counter their demands and stand our ground; a strategy that eventually paid-off in a sale. I also appreciated the advice he gave me on dealing with significant repairs. The entire appraisal process takes from seven to 10 days. This timeline accounts for the many steps of the appraisal process, including the post-inspection report completed by the appraiser.

Home appraisal services include the following tasks:
