Very well . Leo was on time each day, always kept us up to date, very professional, tidy, excellent work in all areas. I'm already starting a new list of things I would like done in the near future.

  • Eric Olson Handyman
In spite of bad weather and an unexpected drain line while digging post holes, project was completed on schedule.

  • Eric Olson Handyman
Eric, is professional and a perfectionist in his work. He helped us figure out what we needed and was very patient with our lack of knowledge. He also helped with two small items gratis because he could see our lack of ability! LOL (we are talking hammer and nail here folks!) We are having him come back next week to install an additional step for our door. Great service good man to have for small projects that a contractor wont touch. He is also good with dogs. They loved him

  • SRH General Engineering
He is more than excellent and very knowledgeable in what he does. He is very even tempered, contentious, and very accommodating. We would highly recommend him and we would definitely hire him again.

  • Brandon Spinks Handyman Services

  • Abacherli Fence
Workmanship was top notch. It is nice to see a streight fence there again. I am sure the neighbors are happy too. The job makes a big change in the look if the neighborhood. Come back soon!!!
  • Ultra Vinyl Fence & Decking
We went to home show and saw them there. We got a quote from him and couple other guys, and he was the one we went with. I didn't dislike anything. They had a tough time putting up the posts. I thought they did a fine job and they were very courteous. They were prompt when they said they were gonna be and I believe it took them two days to do it. Plus they repaired the gate post for me at no cost too

  • Hughes Construction
Shane put in the fence. Neighbors stopped while he was working to get his card. Others had cheaper fencemen and they are now have flimsy fences, while ours is sturdy and well built. The property was kept clean and neat afterwards. Shane is a nice guy and a hard worker. Good work ethic and trustworthy

  • Abacherli Fence
I had contacted six fence companies. Got no response from three even after a number of messages. Abacherli Fence contacted me immediately and Jim came by with an estimate. They were the highest (slightly) of the three estimates but were able to meet the middle estimate. They arrived when promised and completed the job in two days. By far the most professional of the three companies I talked with and the job was completed and cleaned up as promised. Very happy with the results

  • Lassen Landscapes
I was very pleased with the work that was done and I have called him back for additional work since I had him put in my sprinkling system. The first company I went with for my sprinkler system was a company that was recommended to me, well, he came, he walked around took his figures and then I waited for probably two weeks. He called up saying that he was busy and eventually I got an estimate that was very high. So I called another outfit, he was to be here at 4.30, I think it was a Friday afternoon, so I waited and there was no phone call, no nothing and he didn't show up. When I called him on Monday, he said he had forgotten. By then I was irritated, then I called Lassen, he said he would be here at a certain time and I could have set my clock, because right on the button, he was there. I even told him that he has a heads up over his competitors because he showed up when he said he would. He did the estimate and got it back to me and I went with him. He always would let me know what was going to happen and he was always on time. He did good work, so anything in the yard that I have a problem with, I call him, because I know the work will be done correctly and he will be here when he says he is going to be

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
