I selected Brett due to the thoroughness of his assessment of my house and the work required considering the last time the home was painted was 1990. It is paramount to me who comes on my property to perform work and as Brett is the proprietor with a California contractor license that greatly appealed to me. Brett made solid recommendations on how I should handle the wood rot. Brett was spot on with his assessment on the time and materials required, he and his employee were on time and only missed days because of rain. After having the door installed Ulysses and his father painted the door but forgot to paint the top and bottom of the door which voided our warranty with the door company. The door company came out and asked if we had hired someone who was licensed and bonded because the work didn't reflect someone who follows the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America standards. When we asked for a refund Ulysses blamed us saying we should have told him to paint the top and bottom and we are now left with a door that is now out of warranty and have to pay for another licensed and bonded painter to fix the mistake."
