Michael showed up on time and even called me as he was on his way to my home which I appreciated. He not only fixed my issue buy also explained to me how things work electrically. I would hire them again for any electrical issues and hope I get Michael again. Your company is lucky to have him.

Did a fast clean jib

We submitted a service request through our AHS home warranty and were assigned to Budget Electric. It was after work hours. It affected our fridge and stove, so AHS put it as expedite/emergency. The next morning we were contacted by BE, and they found us a canceled appointment time for the following morning. In the meantime, I searched BE for reviews and saw quite a few negative reviews, leaving me nervous for our appointment. Based on the service we received, I don't know how they have bad reviews. The women answering my phone calls were very understanding and patient with may many phone calls. Michelle and another woman handled all my questions and concerns. There were a couple of times I wasn't able to reach them, but I'm assuming they were handling other calls or were at a unch break. Although it was an hour outside of our service window, we had an electrician show up soon after. With the storms, I think they're busy and sometimes run a little behind. Michael was the best and completely blew away all concerns as soon as he arrived. He was courteous and positive the entire time. He asked permission for coming inside, opening doors, going into rooms, etc. He patiently explained everything he did. He wasn't annoyed by curiosity or my questions. He was thorough and had diagnosed our problem in less than 5 minutes. Although it ended up being an issue for PG&E to fix, Michael double-checked the circuit breaker and boxes. He replaced a faulty fuse box to ensure no additional issues. After our service was complete, I shared our initial concerns based on previous reviews. Michael was still positive and genuinely courteous. He had positive things to say about Miguel and Abraham as well. He explained they have a high volume of service calls. He didn't make excuses. Without dismissing the other reviews, he said that with the volume of calls they do, there are probably some negative reviews. Although I don't typically leave reviews, I felt it was only fair to give an honest review after reading the negative reviews. Thanks to BE and Michael for service above and beyond!

Michael was very professional and called ahead when he hit traffic and was going to be late. He also identified that I had incorrectly rated breakers installed in my panel and recommended replacement. The estimate was free and when he came back to do the work, he was prompt, courteous, and did the work quickly and efficiently. He also informed me of a 48mo warranty on the new breakers.

The contractors work was excellent.  There was some miscommunication between what I thought the deal entailed and what he thought it did.  I was under the impression he was to be here for two hours so I gave him various projects to work on.  When he was done, he handed me another bill for the "extra" work.    In the end, he did not charge me which I thought was appropriate but he was a little difficult at first.    I would use him again but I would make sure I knew what the costs were going to be ahead of time.

Scheduled 10 to 12 window, no showed and was not able to reach them until 5pm that day. Rescheduled and owner came out and he arrived an hour late stating he was just here to "do an estimate" for a job we had paid for weeks before. We then rescheduled a THIRD time.  The technician arrived 45 minutes after the agreed upon window, did not have the parts required, and took an hour to do a job that the owner had told us should take 20 minutes

Their work was okay but they should have been more knowledgeable about the laws in California. California has a law where fuse boxes cannot be in the closet.  He did not tell me that so I had to pay another company to additional money to move them. 

Initially I thought it went great.  He showed up on time, understood what we needed (a new outlet in the garage for our freezer), and got right to work. He also patched a hole where another outlet had been and put in a GFI (for a very reasonable additional cost).  My only concerns were at the end.  After he finished installing the outlet he asked where the panel was.  Apparently he tripped the breaker while he was installing the outlet.  But wait-shouldn't he have turned the breaker off before he started the work?  Yikes!  And also after he finished the installation (and saw the panel) he said we could have an issue with the freezer compressor tripping the circuit because it wasn't rated high enough.  Again, shouldn't he have looked at that first?  So far it has been OK, but we don't access our freezer everyday so if it trips it could be several days before we realize it (and the loss of a lot of food).  I would use them again but would ask questions and watch their work a bit more carefully next time.

It was fine. I had to go back three times. We would set up a time for him to come out and them he was too busy or the next time was he will definitely fit me in and them something came up. Once he got here it was fine. The works was good, but getting back and following through was not so great, he was probably busy. He was a nice guy and it seemed like the persons at the office screwed up the scheduling and he was just a victim of it. He was quick and good and I have no complaints with the work. I think the price was fair.
