"Absolutely amazing experience. My home radon levels were averaging 5.0 pCi/L. Two days after Edward and his team finished the mitigation job the levels went down to 0.3. Incredible result. I can’t be happier."
"After the traumatic and heartbreaking experience of the Palisades fires, we had to go ahead and hire a remediation company. We just finished our remediation with Brett from Hunter Restoration and our apartment smells and looks great! Brett and Braulio did a wonderful job! Not only did they do an amazing job with our unit and were very hardworking and dedicated to making our place look amazing… They were also very compassionate, understanding, patient and worked with us and our situation to be able to make this happen for us as smoothly as possible. I met with almost 8 remediation companies… I’m happy I went with them… I will definitely go back to them for any future jobs I have. I cannot recommend them enough! They did a fantastic job! Thanks Hunter Restoration!"
"David, Veronica and Maria we're pleasant to work with, Upfront and direct with all Communication. They also recommended a Clearance Testing Facility which was great, they made the Clearance appointment for me and the company called to schedule. David and his team where very profession, I've dealt with quite a few contractors and project managers and they did a fantastic job. David gave me his word that it will pass, and it did due to his expertise, knowledge and his Team. I thought his pricing was extremely fair as I have dealt with this problem in another area in the household due to lack of engineering integrity, I would definitely recommend AM:PM Restorations & Construction Inc. to friends and family. Don't hesitate to call and have them give you a quote."

"not that great. basically paid $99 to get an estimate. included cleaning roof and minimal repairs. took a while to get appointment, and then when they came, they didn't even do the work! gave a really big estimate and then re-seheduled to have someone else do the work. they wouldn't totally replace the roof, gave different estimates to repair, I went with a different company to do a full roof rplacement."

"They were very responsive, very quiet, very clean. They protected the house with sheeting and they took care of the paper works and testing and they make sure that it was tested and everything was up to code. They also help me to find out people to rebuild the kitchen."
"I've been planning remodeling my home for years, i finally decided to commit to it and called unique. my friend said they did great work in her home. i met with the same contractor and i really liked him. he spent 4 hours with me and went into detail about what he can do and how to bring my ideas to life. i decided to move forward and start the work. the project took about 5 weeks to do everything. they started on my bathroom and i was scared at first when i saw everything being ripped out but see it come together is amazing. first the floors vanity and shower. they finished the bathroom in a little over a week. my jaw dropped when i saw the finished result. i couldn't wait to see the kitchen done. everyone was really nice the workers covered everything. and cleaned up after they were done. i would definitely use them and refer them to anyone i know."
Radon Detection and Reduction questions, answered by experts
Radon is a cancer-causing radioactive gas that poses serious health risks, infiltrating homes through foundation cracks and unnoticed spaces.
Radon enters your home when warm air begins to rise and exits through the roof, creating a vacuum that pulls cooler air from under the foundation. Part of that air is radon, which is an invisible, odorless gas that develops naturally when radioactive particles are deep within the ground. Those particles usually come from decaying matter in soil and rocks.
Installing a mitigation system reduces radon levels, which can cause lung cancer, providing peace of mind and long-term health benefits. It can also increase your home’s value, as many buyers prefer properties with radon safety measures in place. The investment is relatively low compared to the potential health risks associated with prolonged radon exposure.
Ideally, no one will live in a house with elevated radon levels, as prolonged exposure increases the risk of serious health issues like lung cancer. However, homes with radon can be made safe through mitigation systems, such as active soil depressurization. Testing for radon regularly and addressing high levels helps ensure a safe living environment.
Radon detection is crucial as prolonged exposure to radon gas, a leading cause of lung cancer, poses significant health risks in residential environments.
