He told me after I signed the contract the day he started to work. He took the door off and leaned it up against a newly painted wall. He damaged the baseboards, damaged the wall while removing baseboards, damaged door, frame and jam when he tried to rehang the door. The leftover mix was dumped down my sink drain and ran down cabinet and dish washer. I expected a Professional to be upfront and respectful of my property. The possible damage to my drain pipe, clogging and environment from the chemicals. When I was able to walk on the floor and saw the damage I was shocked. I almost collapsed. I was sick for two days. I spoke to Alex with Angi and he laughed and said you'll have to fix it. Apparently you idea of a Professional andine are not the same. The damage he did shouldn't have happened."

Porcelain tile can last for 75 years or more with proper care, and even less durable ceramic tile will last for 60 years or more, provided they’re installed by a tile professional. On the other hand, laminate flooring has an average lifespan of around 20 years, and you might only get 10 to 15 years out of low-cost laminate flooring. As such, tile will add far more value to your home than laminate.

The process takes two to four days, depending on the size of the area and your experience level. The first day involves assessing and prepping the existing tile, while the second day is for laying the new tile. This may take longer in complex areas. After letting the adhesive dry for 24 hours, grouting and sealing can be completed on day three. For larger projects or intricate tile patterns, expect the timeline to stretch a bit longer. Also, proper drying time between steps is essential for long-lasting results, which extends the project’s time.

It’s not a good idea to lay tile and grout on the same day. The adhesive or thin-set that sticks the tiles to the surface needs plenty of time to dry before you can grout. Wait for 24 to 48 hours, depending on moisture levels in the space. The tiles can become misaligned and more prone to damage if you don’t wait.
