"I have hired Julian for multiple jobs. He has trouble shooted non working outlets. Replaced light fixtures, replaced outlets, replaced switches and installed/wired multiple ring cameras for my home. Julian has been the best electrician to work with and has always been prompt with appointments and being on time as well as efficient with his work. He will be the only electrician I trust in my home for any and all future needs."

"Manuel is  hands down the best handyman around. He is always professional and does quality work at very reasonable prices. I can always count on Manuel to respond to any requests I have and is always willing to offer advice on any home issues I may have that require attention. The cabinets were installed timely just in time for my new countertop installation the next day from another company.  He is very personable and helpful and knows how to do just about anything. You won't go wrong with such a great handyman. It means a lot to have someone who is responsive and gets back to you timely and who you can count on to gett he job done. I have been using Manuel for my home projects for about a year now and am very happy with his services and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking home repair services."

"Finally got one of the doorbell cameras that we’ve been seeing on TV commercials and at some of our family member’s houses. Alarm Protection Group was terrific in pricing this out for us and getting it up up and going. Simple and easy security solution!"

"The Huft technicians knew their stuff. They arrived promptly in the morning, removed the existing units, and installed the new units without a hitch. The systems were up and running by the afternoon, and have served me well over the last three years, working great in both summer and winter. Huft provided free semi-annual maintenance visits for two years. There was a minor problem with the rooftop unit recently, and they repaired it under warranty at no charge. The cost was not cheap, but for me it was worth it to go all-electric."

"Dale was terrific he arrived on time, was prepared to go to work, on arrival. Picked up a few necessary items, I didn’t have. Started and finished the job, cleaned up. Left with a functioning Ring doorbell that was connected to hard wire. Very professional and thorough."

Ring Installers questions, answered by experts

Yes, professionals can often retrofit models with minimal disruption.

Most residential range hoods have a CFM between 200 and 600. A higher CFM means your range hood is better at removing smoke and odors from your kitchen. The measurement ultimately depends on your stove’s width and heat output as well as the size of your kitchen.

Compared to the average size of a stove and kitchen, 350 CFM would be the minimum recommended rating for the average kitchen. However, selecting a higher CFM range hood would guarantee better ventilation to match your cooking habits, whether they’re minimal or extensive.

A higher CFM will make the price of your range hood more expensive. It can be challenging to speculate how much the CFM rating affects price, but ductless range hoods—that don’t need as high of a CFM as ducted range hoods—are less expensive than their alternative. On average, ductless hoods cost between $100 and $300, while ducted hoods can cost as much as $1,000.

No, range hoods do not necessarily have to be vented outside. Ductless or non-vented range hoods are available, which are common in condos or small kitchens where connecting to external ductwork isn't feasible. These hoods operate by taking in air, filtering it through charcoal filters to help eliminate smoke and odors, and then recirculating the cleaned air back into the kitchen. However, while these recirculating hoods are more versatile, venting to the outside is still the preferred and more effective method for completely removing smoke, odors, and gases from the room.

Neglected maintenance can lead to odors, fire hazards, impaired airflow, and reduced range and hood operation efficiency.
