"This is an owner operated business! Had Mr, Aguilar come out himself for the estimate. I wanted to get my driveway and walkway pressure washed because it hasnâ t been done in a few years, his pricing is very affordable compared to other businesses. He told me about the other services he offers which led me to getting my gutters clean as well, lord knows I needed those done before we get some rain! Mr. Aguilar was very professional and didnâ t just blow my leaves on my front lawn like the other guys I hired last year, he actually put them in my green waste for me! I highly recommend him!"

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

No, pressure washing isn’t recommended for cartridge filters. The high pressure can damage the filter paper, and the gentler pressure from a regular garden hose will work to rinse the cartridge filter. If the cartridge is very dirty or has algae or mineral buildup, you can use a muriatic acid solution to soak the filter and remove the buildup.

This answer is a bit tricky because experts say both. You should apply your cleaning solution from bottom to top, but rinse from top to bottom to avoid streaking. When it comes to multi-story houses, you’ll want to start at the top floor and work your way down, but follow the above instructions for each level as if it were an independent structure, rather than washing the whole house as one unit.

You should never use bleach in a pressure washer. While bleach is effective at killing mold and mildew, it is a potent chemical that can corrode the machine's seals and nozzles, destroying it from the inside out. Additionally, pressure washing with bleach sprays the chemical into the air, which is dangerous if inhaled and can kill nearby plants, flowers, or harm animals that ingest it. If you need to remove mold or mildew, it is best to hire a professional who will use a safe and effective cleaning agent.

No matter the material, the best times to pressure wash or power wash a patio are spring and summer during a string of dry days. As long as the temperature is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, you won’t encounter any cold-related issues. You need those dry days to ensure no algae or mold grows on the wet surface of the patio.

It may be necessary to power wash your house, depending on the siding material. Vinyl, composite, or metal siding can hold up to the heat and pressure of occasional power washing, but materials like brick, stucco, wood, and painted materials may get damaged from the high-pressure water. For sensitive materials, consider a soft wash instead of a pressure wash.
