"Julian the electrician for Hunts Electrical was so nice and accommodating when he replaced my doorbell and living room light fan & switch. I originally thought I had to remove my old doorbell because it had not worked for months but Julian figured out the problem within minutes! Thanks again!"

"I have used Tenorio?s Handyman service several times. Most recently, we got a call informing us that one of our tenants had a broken
window. This was the middle of winter and it needed to be handled immediately. The window was an old style
single-pane window and we decided to replace it with something more energy efficient.
I contacted Manuel and gave him the property manager?s contact information. He made an immediate appt to take measurements of the window and he placed the order for a new window. As soon as the window was ready, he picked it up and arranged for another appointment at the property to do the installation. He even alerted us to another potential problem on the property.
Everything was handled very efficiently with minimal effort on my part. I have complete confidence in Manuel. He has always handled things very honestly and efficiently and he doesn?t overcharge.

Customers say: Quick response

"I recently had Capital Carpentry come out to install a new front door lock, and I’m so glad I called them. Eugene was absolutely wonderful—very professional, friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing. He arrived right on time, took the time to explain things to me without any rush, and got the job done quickly and cleanly. These days it’s not easy to find people who are both skilled and genuinely trustworthy, but Eugene made me feel completely comfortable. The lock works perfectly and I feel much more secure in my home now. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Capital Carpentry again—they truly care about doing the job right."

Customers say: Quality work

"Barry was outstanding from start to finish. He was the first to provide an estimate, the most reasonably priced, and inspired the most confidence of all the contractor estimators I talked to. Not only that, but was completely accommodating and receptive to all my special requests and upgrades. Most of all, he is a super nice guy and does all the work himself. You don't have to pay the overhead of a big operation or worry who will do the work - your money goes straight to the man and the materials. The job was started on time and finished in 5 hours for a Nema 14-50 garage outlet (a specialty of his) with 6 AWG wire and a Hubbel industrial outlet. Best of all, Barry knows all the codes and submits all the paperwork to the city/county for permitted installations. Highly recommend!"

Doorbell Installation questions, answered by experts

When installing board and batten siding, make sure there is wall sheathing and a moisture-resistant barrier installed. Behind that sheathing should be plywood or OSB for you to nail the boards and battens into. If there isn’t plywood or OSB, you can install vertical furring strips at 1½- to 2-foot intervals to nail the boards and battens to.

Depending on where you live and the conditions of your basement, you may not need to insulate your basement. Your best bet is to talk to a basement remodeling company to find out what they recommend doing.

Insulating your basement can help improve your home's energy efficiency, but it will also increase the cost of your basement remodel project. The average cost of installing basement insulation is $2,400.

In addition to adding insulation to your attic, you may want to add a radiant barrier. A radiant barrier works by using reflective material, such as foil, on the attic floor. As heat penetrates the roof and enters the attic, the radiant barrier reflects the heat upward and back through the roof. If you receive a lot of direct sunlight on the roof, using both a radiant barrier and insulation in your attic can provide significant benefits.

Yes, professionals install and upgrade insulation for all home or business areas.

Yes. Proper, complete insulation will ensure that you trap the most cool or warm air inside your home, preventing high energy bills. In addition, insulation tends to settle and compress, leaving gaps over time; the more you insulate completely during the initial installation, the less you’ll need to do down the line.
