He was very knowlegable about my water heater, and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He advised me that the parts should still be under warranty, which I hadn’t even considered since my water heater was almost 5 years old. He ordered the parts from the manafacturer on speaker phone so I could hear the entire transaction. They verified my information and sent the parts to my home at no cost. They arrived the following morning. He had already e-mailed me an invoice for the service and an estimate to complete the job, with the service call deducted from the total cost of the job.
