"They did good work at a very reasonable price. I had them re-plaster all of my ceilings after I had removed popcorn texture that contained asbestos. The ceilings were in bad shape after the asbestos abatement and they did a very good job of making them smooth. I also used them to paint the entire interior of my home. All of the work was done while the house was vacant. Randy was easy to talk to and easy to reach during the project and was able to give me status updates."

If the holes in the plaster are small, you can fill them with layers of patching plaster until they’re filled. After it dries, you can sand the plaster and paint over it. If the hole is much larger, consider using bonding plaster first and then a layer of patching plaster, completing the process with sanding and a layer of paint.

Very little. One inch of water can stain walls, warp wood, and create a perfect environment for mold growth. One to two inches of water can do significant damage to drywall, insulation, and electrical systems. Anything over that is considered an extensive flood, often resulting in severe structural damage.

Regularly in areas prone to moisture or high traffic to catch issues early.

The easiest way to tell if a wall is load bearing is to check if it’s an exterior wall or if it runs perpendicular to the joists above and below it (or parallel to beams). Exterior walls are almost always load-bearing, and walls that run under beams or parallel to them are also usually load-bearing. There are exceptions to these rules, and walls that don’t fit into these categories can still be load-bearing. If you’re unsure, hire a structural engineer to look at your home to assess whether or not the wall is structural.
