Small jobs welcome

"The service was awesome. Cleaned my pool and diagnosed and made some repairs. They took my pool from a green pond to a sparkling pool again. Everything works and looks great.the best thing was being told what was wrong and following thru to fix it when they said it would get done. Would definitely recommend this company. Thanks again Aquadoc"

"SBL did a fantastic rebuild of our 45 year old pool! Everything went exactly to plan and Sal, the owner, was always available by text or phone to confirm schedules, etc. He was of great assistance in helping us select a beautiful Italian tile out of many, many choices. The pool looks wonderful. His crews always showed up as scheduled and were professional and friendly. Our agreed upon price was maintained. We are totally pleased with the work done by SBL Pools and recommend them without reservation. If any new work comes up regarding changes to the pool, they will be our first (and only) call! "A truly amazing job done by absolute pools. I am so happy to be back swimming after years of having issues with my pool. Prior to this fiberglass pool, I had a plaster one that would constantly crack and I couldn't find any solution anywhere. I spoke with many business's about potential solutions but the only one that actually seemed reasonable and within my budget was Absolute Pools. They are extremely professional, clear with their communication, highly experienced, and very fast workers. Also they clean up after themselves very well which is highly appreciated. All in all I give absolute pools a 5/5 stars. Definitely would recommend if you are considering resurfacing your pool."

"We hired Alan the moment he came out to give us an estimate. He was very detailed in what his cost included - our pool has never looked better! During the summer we used to experience a green pool because the chlorine would just disappear due to the heat, but Alan checks our levels, vacuums and adds water and chlorine if needed every Monday! We are very pleased."

"I highly recommend Sánchez pool construction company, their customer service is excellent. Remodeling a pool is a big investment and can be stressful, you want to make sure your make all the right choices. Kimberly sat down with me and explain so much regarding materials the overall process of having a pool remodeled. I handed over my pool to them (it was a disaster) they had a lot of work to do. When the job was complete I couldn t believe the pool they handed back to me was mine, they did an amazing job I can t believe how beautiful my pool is. Thank you Sánchez pools, Not only for my beautiful pool but allowing me to be stress-free through the process, you guys are truly amazing!!!!!!"

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.

Land surveys are worth it in several scenarios including selling your home, building an addition, constructing a fence, or making major changes to your landscape. A professional land survey can help you avoid legal issues with your neighbors and confirm the value of your property. In many cases, you may be required to order a land survey to receive a construction permit or mortgage loan.

Depending on the type of land survey, the report will mark the boundaries of your property, the topographical changes of the landscape, as well as major natural and added structures to the plot. A more detailed survey, like an as-built survey, will note the measurements of the structures and landscape following major construction. A topographic survey will also help your contractor determine the cost of land development projects.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.
