"After finding out the hard way that slid surface counters can crack when exposed to heat, in this case from a crock pot combined with a badly done installation, I was fortunate to have Julie guide me through the repair process. She responded quickly, reviewed an image I sent and drove out to the house the same day she was contacted to assess the damage. She identified the manufacturer for the surface that was long discontinued. This was a rental house and no extra material was available to repair the damage yet she still was able to work her magic to repair the surface well and at an affordable price. "They did a good job. We purchased the Angie's Deal for new granite countertops for $1499. Of course we ended up choosing a higher priced granite, needing more granite square footage than the deal covered, and upgrading the sink for additional cost. They also needed to move up the electrical outlets to accommodate for the new 6 inch granite backsplash. Bryan and his team did the entire job in 2 days and were great. One thing to mention is that they do not hook back up the sink after the job. They were very clear about that in their estimate. We called a separate plumber for that the next day. Overall, very happy with my counters. Now if someone else would just do the cooking in there!"
