Get matched with top subcontractors in Irvine, CA

"We had an excellent experience completing our whole home remodel with OC Home Builders. I have already recommended them to my neighbors, my closest friends and family. This is a hard working, honest contractor with talented craftsman who take pride in their product. This local, family business came highly recommended from our architect and we could not be happier with how they brought our plans to life. Every aspect of our home was remodeled. OC Home Builders changed our floor plan, made our home structurally sound, replaced all plumbing and electrical wiring, replaced the roof, replaced insulation, new walls, new hardwood floors, bathrooms and a kitchen completely reconstructed-literally everything! OC Home Builders was always incredibly organized and kept me and my husband up-to-date on our options, the progress of the build and the next steps. Jim is a talented and experienced contractor who runs a tight ship and has great relationships with his team. I always felt like my home was being built to the highest standards, with attention to detail and with beauty and precision in mind. America was the project manager and the person we most often interfaced with. I cannot thank her enough for always answering my questions, helping me make informed decisions for all aspects of our home, and keeping me in the loop on all of the activity and improvements being made. They were always flexible with us as we made decisions and they were helpful when troubleshooting the issues that naturally arise in a project of this size. We now live in our dream home and feel secure that every nook and cranny is well constructed, tastefully done and with the best products and craftsmanship available. Special shout out to everyone on the staff that worked on our home whether they be the OC Home Builders staff like Chayse and Derrick, or the talented subcontractors brought on to help us with every detail of our home-thanks Jesse!"

"After 30+ years of dreaming about a kitchen remodel, we finally did it—and choosing SoCal Builders & Design was the best decision we could’ve made. David, our project manager, was professional, organized, and communicated every step clearly. Any minor hiccup was handled immediately, and we always felt informed and in control. Every tradesperson on the job was skilled, respectful, and meticulous. The end result exceeded our expectations—our new kitchen is stunning, functional, and feels like it came straight out of a design magazine. We’re already planning bathroom renovations and wouldn’t think of calling anyone but David and SoCal Builders & Design again. True professionals from start to finish!"

"Kyle was great, this was a small handyman job and it isn't easy finding a professional to do these small jobs. The work was done as quoted. And on time. The quality of the work was top notch and I will definitely be using Kyle again."

"We found McCormick home builders through Angie’s list. They were not one of our original contacts, but they contacted us and came out to give us a quote. Matteo was extremely helpful, informative, honest, and gave us reasonable realistic prices, and did not try to inflate the prices or pressure us in anyway. We felt very comfortable with him immediately. We felt like he was a member of the family that we could just talk to and ask questions he was very personable. He gave us his contact number in case we had other questions and he was always available when we needed him for any type of questions or concerns. Mateo‘s team did a beautiful job. They were fast. They were efficient. They cleaned up beautifully. They did a wonderful job. They were very considerate of our time our needs and our neighbors. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Matteo from McCormick home builders for any home building projects, and we will be calling him again in the future!"

"We hired Ben and his team to do a full remodel of a 1940 bungalow in Burbank. Immediately upon meeting Ben I knew I wanted to work with him - he clearly has the intelligence, experience, and taste I was looking for, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Surprises arise during construction, but Ben was always direct and communicative. When a problem arose, he explained the situation, offered multiple solutions and the costs/tradeoffs of each, and we agreed together on the best course of action. The craftsmanship is wonderful, and even after the house was finished, he remained available for questions. Our house isn't a multimillion dollar compound, but Ben and his team treated it like one within our budget. Our remodel had a lot of ups and downs, but through it all he was a great guy and I'm happy to call him a friend even years after the work is done. Highly recommend!"

"I liked the estimating and proposal process. John was very clear and the cost was very nicely laid out. He has a list of subcontractors he uses and they all did an excellent job."

"Jose was amazing from start to finish. He responded to my request right away and came out the same day for a free consultation. I honestly couldn’t believe the job was completed the very next morning before noon. He was punctual, professional, and left everything spotless. The quality of his work exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest contractor who gets the job done quickly and the right way, Jose is your dream contractor. I highly recommend him!"
