"I recently hired Rivera Tree Service Inc for tree removal and general maintenance on my property, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The team arrived promptly at the scheduled time and conducted a thorough assessment of the trees in question. They provided a detailed and fair estimate, explaining the process clearly and answering all my questions with patience and expertise. During the removal and trimming process, the crew demonstrated outstanding professionalism and skill. They took great care to ensure the safety of my property and worked efficiently to complete the job. The site was left spotless, with all debris cleared away, which I truly appreciated. What impressed me most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. The team was friendly, courteous, and genuinely passionate about their work. It's evident they take pride in delivering high-quality service. I highly recommend Rivera Tree Service Inc for any tree-related needs. Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Transporting a fully-grown tree requires heavy equipment, typically specialized for the task. A tree spade is a truck-mounted tool that removes the tree from the ground in one location, transports it, and places it in a new hole in a new location. A combination of mechanized shovels and lifts is necessary to move very large trees, and the exact tools often depend on location and the surrounding area.

If a disease has attacked and destroyed the roots, then the tree may fall over as soon as it has died or while part of it is still alive. Trees that die with their roots left in place tend to stay standing for much longer, but those roots will decay eventually, allowing gravity to do the rest.

Unless there’s some sort of rule in your community’s homeowners’ association that requires you to remove a stump, there’s no law that says you have to take it out. If you’re not wedded to the idea of removing it, there are plenty of ways to get creative with this tree remnant. Using the stump as the medium for a wood carving or turning it into a planter are just two examples of ways to repurpose a tree stump.

In most cases, your neighbor is responsible for roots from their tree that cause damage to your property. If your pavement, the foundation of your home, or a fence is damaged by roots from a neighbor’s tree, you likely will have legal recourse for financial relief. While it’s better to notify your neighbor of any problems you notice as soon as they arise to avoid costly damage, there are some instances where filing a civil suit is your only recourse. Your homeowner’s insurance company might wish to do so on your behalf if you file a claim.

You’ll want to have your palm trees trimmed during the spring, ideally in May, before hurricane season sets in, which generally takes place during the late summer. Palm trees grow fastest over the summer months. You’ll also want to trim your palm trees when you notice:

  • Brown fronds

  • Dry leaves

  • Flower pods

  • Fruit

  • Fronds overgrown in power lines

  • Frond encroaching upon your neighbor’s home or yard

  • Visible damage from a storm
