"I called Anna in the middle of trying to hang wallpaper on the ceiling (not to well) she called me back and tried to advise. She didn t have to do that and she was very busy but didn t rush me. She was booked pretty far out but was able to squeeze me in sooner. Kinda wish I had taken her advise to put up a liner first as my orange peel texture shows through. Insist next time Anna. Lol. "We decided to hire Diaz Painting after meeting with Rene for the estimate. He was prompt and courteous, and took the time to thoroughly review the job and discuss the details. I also liked that his definition of “two coats of paint” matched mine, in that he paints once and lets it dry before painting again, unlike my previous painter. They went around the house and prepped the job by hand, repairing problem areas to ensure a good paint job. My previous painter's crew just pressure washed the eaves and started painting. After painting my house eaves with two coats of paint, they went back around the entire house and meticulously touched up the job by hand, and thoroughly cleaned up before leaving. The job was completed on time and for the agreed cost. They even painted some trim on the house we hadn’t discussed at no additional cost. "They used rollers to paint the cabinets. This leaves them with a very rough feel and they look like painted cabinets which my husband could of done. Apparently if I would of selected the semi gloss coating the feel of the cabinets would of been smooth as a result when I need to wipe them down it is very difficult. Plus it would of preserved them longer. The point of the rough cabinet exterior was not mentioned at the time of discussing what we wanted. I am so unhappy with the outcome. They did come out to see what they could do about our dissatisfaction. We were told that for another $1000 they could put the semi gloss coating on. My husband asked if that was the best they could do. We have not heard back from them."
