"Poor service, poor follow-up, and no customer service. They left drips running down most of the windows. (See photos.) They came back and smeared around some of the drips, but left other windows with drip stains running down them. They damaged my property. They broke a sprinkler and didn't tell me. (See photo.) This caused water to spray up onto the windows that had been cleaned. I requested a refund, and they ghosted me."

For over 20 years TR Construction has specialized in roofing and remodeling; working on thousands of homes throughout San Diego County. We provide a one-stop solution. Our in-house team includes experts in roofing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, acoustic ceiling removal, tile setting, painting, and design...so we can do it all. Including new roof installation, roof repair, bath and kitchen remodels, home improvements, room additions, window replacement, doors and siding.

"The roof was first replaced end of September 2020. The end result was sloppy as they used pieces of the granulated torch down cap sheet. There was black tar all over with footprints and other areas of a pinkish color and white material in certain areas. It was also discussed about the water pooling around the skylights after it rains. The problem wasn't solved on the first reroof or the second time around. (November 2020) And we were charged an extra $2,000 for plywood and 2x6's to lift that area. It just rained and it's a pool of water again. So that was just a waste of our money. Overall the cap sheet looks much better on the second reroof as they went from side to side with long rolls instead of using the scraps from other jobs. They also ran into our garage with their debris truck along with scraping the side of the exterior garage wall with the plywood. And dIdn't clean up well either. It was a very unpleasant experience and we would not recommend using this company."

Most experts would not recommend hanging wallpaper over existing wallpaper more than twice. Even if the walls are in good condition and primed well, that third layer of wallpaper could cause problems with adhesion. No, you don’t always have to remove old wallpaper before applying a new layer. However, you should pull off the existing wallpaper if it’s cracked, peeling, or in poor condition. We’d also recommend against putting wallpaper over textured or dark-colored wallpaper because the old layer may be visible through the new one. In addition, if you try to hang new wallpaper over vinyl-coated wallpaper, the adhesive might not stick properly. 

While you technically can put wallpaper in a bathroom, it doesn’t mean you should. Bathrooms are high-humidity areas, but if your bathroom is well-ventilated, it can work, especially depending on the placement. If the wallpaper is installed away from direct water contact, like a vanity or accent wall, it will hold up better than if it were directly next to the shower.
