Almost 1 decade later and the paint job has held up very, very well as I had a contractor over recently who thought the work had been done in the last 2 years (prompting me to write this review). "They used rollers to paint the cabinets. This leaves them with a very rough feel and they look like painted cabinets which my husband could of done. Apparently if I would of selected the semi gloss coating the feel of the cabinets would of been smooth as a result when I need to wipe them down it is very difficult. Plus it would of preserved them longer. The point of the rough cabinet exterior was not mentioned at the time of discussing what we wanted. I am so unhappy with the outcome. They did come out to see what they could do about our dissatisfaction. We were told that for another $1000 they could put the semi gloss coating on. My husband asked if that was the best they could do. We have not heard back from them."
