My AC's secondary drain was leaking due to a clogged primary line. Daryle from Cool Air quickly identified the issue and cleared the clog under the master bathroom sink — about a gallon of water came out instantly. The final charge was a bit more than quoted, but Daryle was honest, efficient, and didn’t try to upsell anything. After bad experiences with Service Champions — who I believe sabotaged my system — working with Cool Air was a relief. Vadim, the owner, was also great to talk to. I’ll be using them again.

The blower motor on my furnace went out. Every company I asked for a quote told me I needed to replace the entire furnace and quoted me thousands of dollars to do so. Excellent service from start to finish. Office picked up phone right away and scheduled an appointment for the same day on one of the hottest days of the year. They explained in detail process of repair. They dispatched out Vadim who was on time and very knowledgeable. I had a 30+ year old air conditioner system that went out during the hottest time of the year. We contacted multiple HVAC contractors who didn't even want to diagnose the system, they just looked at it and said it needs replacement and gave us some outrageous pricing for it. Then we called Cool Air For You. They sent out Vadim who actually took his time with our unit and gave his honest recommendation. He let us know our compressor is out but our unit is completely rusted. He said he could possibly repair the compressor but there would be no guarantees how long the repairs would last. He also let us know that if the unit goes out again there would be no saving it and replacing would be our only option. He also said that if we do replace our system we would also have to replace the refrigerant lines as ours were currently made from plastic...this is something no other contractor told us. Since we were dying in our home due to how hot it was, we decided to go with the repair for now but had him give us a quote for replacement. A month later our unit was still working good but we decided to go ahead with replacement. We called back Cool Air For You on a Monday and spoke with Claudia she answered the phone right away and was able to get the install scheduled for that Friday. The installers, Victor and Andre came right at 8am, they laid out drop clothes on my floor so they wouldn't get my floors dirty...they worked very hard and stood at my place till the job was complete. They left around 6pm. Overall excellent experience with all aspects of this company, from the office, techs and installers. Honest and fair priced companies are hard to come by these days. Highly recommend to all friends and family. I never leave reviews but this company exceeded all my expectations!

This company was assigned through my home warranty company. I need my account replaced and have no working air at this time. The technician has no showed to appointments, company rescheduled then canceled, completely unacceptable and unprofessional! If assigned please call your home warranty and ask for another company. We have yet to have repairs done and if we cancel would have to start over! To top it off it is costing us $2600 out of pocket for the repairs.

Assigned to us through home warranty company. Initially very responsive, however when asked a break down of services suggested it got real quiet. Several phone calls and emails NO RESPONSE. Something seems to be a little fishy here. BEWARE. It has been over 50 days since first contact, no air during the hottest part of the summer.

Joseph arrived in less than 48 hours despite the first real hot stretch of the summer, at the scheduled time with a heads up call. Had the capacitor he diagnosed instantly as the problem on hand, we were cooling down within the hour. Prompt, polite, professional, A plus.

This contractor was assigned to us through our home warranty when our AC when not blowing cool air. The technician came out and seemed nice enough and told us that the unit was shorting which is why is wasn’t cooling down, and also said that our thermostat wasn’t wired correctly and he needed to reword it. He said that we needed to pay him $100 in cash on top of the service fee as the rewording wasn’t part of our home warranty. He went up into our attic where the unit is and then cane down to work on the thermostat and seemed confused and asked if I had the instruction manual for the thermostat. It seemed weird, but then he turned the air on and it was working and we were thrilled. 30 minutes after he left there was water pouring down from our ceiling underneath where he was working in the attic. He would not answer our multiple calls or texts. I finally got a hold of someone in the office who told me they would have him back out between 6-7pm (he left at 1pm) I told them this was not acceptable as our ceiling was leaking water from the ac unit into our can lights and smoke detector (which was setting the smoke detectors for the entire house off) as well as bubbling the ceiling and causing damage to the drywall. He came back to our house about two hours later saying that he doesn’t remember but he must have bumped into the secondary drain pipe but that it needed a new coil anyway and apparently was never installed correctly (this this not a new unit and was installed many years ago and has never had issues). Once he left again the thermostat, which he rewired and was a new smart thermostat about a year old and never had issues, shut off and wouldn’t turn back on. I tried contacting cool air for you and could not get through and did not ever receive a return call. I spent over 6 hours dealing with my home warranty trying to have someone come out to fix the damage caused. They read that the report they received from the technician which included over $1100 worth of out of pocket work that needed to be done to fix the unit. The report the technician submitted included tons of work that he never mentioned to us when he was in our home, when he specifically said the issue was only the one item. This technician not only did not fix the problem he came for, but broke multiple other items and caused damage to our home while he was here. Clearly we did not trust his report since it directly contradicted what he told us, so our home warranty requested they send out a senior tech to verify the work that needed to be done. Neither us or our home warranty could get in touch with them or receive a return call. It has been 28 days now since the technician broke our thermostat and that we have not had AC and we still do not have an appointment for them to send a senior tech out to us. I received one email 2 days ago stating that we could get an appointment if we agree to pay the $1100 for the work they say needs to be completed, I responded and asked when the senior tech would be out first to evaluate and verify the work that needs to be done first and have not received a response. This company is untrustworthy and clearly has unqualified technicians. This has been a nightmare to deal with and there is no hope that this will be completed anytime soon. Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with and I cannot believe that I even allowed that shady technician into my home.

What a great experience from the initial call, to the prompt scheduling of the repair technician and ultimately, heat again with low temps in the 40's. Very happy with the entire experience and would not hesitate to call them again!
