"OUTSTANDING: I have preventive maintenance twice every year. Once to check all A/C equipment and once to check all Heating equipment. This past week technician Jeremy Zavala conducted the preventive maintenance on the Heating system. I was scheduled for the window of noon-3:00PM. Jeremy drove up at noon sharp! Jensen's techs have always arrived on the front end of the promised window. Jeremy was in a clean uniform; wore shoe covers so as not to track anything into my home; introduced himself; friendly and smiling; and went directly to work. He serviced the equipment as well as the thermostat then went over a list of everything addressed. Jeremy is a perfect example and representative of the things I personally want and Jensen A/C & Heating always provides: - Outstanding customer service - Well trained, knowledgeable service technicians - Prompt - Efficient - Respectful of my home: Always leaves the work area neat and clean - Trust-worthy - Personable - If a part needs replacement no need to special order - it's in the van - Jensen's Office & Administrative personnel also demonstrate the qualities noted above. - Always fair cost and excellent value And unlike many of the better known San Diego HVAC companies, Jensen has never made a sales pitch at the completion of a preventive maintenance service call. "They were actually a second opinion for my non-working air conditioner but I went with them because they were very thorough and cheaper then the first company that looked at it. They replaced the same part as the first company quoted but were about $400 cheaper. They also managed to get the part in 2 business days where the other company said over a week. I didn't sacrifice cost for service though, they did a great job and now my AC works better than ever. I would definitely use them again. Another added bonus was that the repairman was a Air Force reservist and I am happy to support our troops and happy to support a company that also supports our troops.

"On initial inspection, they discovered that our old heat registers were the kind with asbestos (house built in the 60's), so they had to sub out the abatement part of the job. Once abatement was complete, the workers showed up each day at the time they said they would arrive. They were all friendly and professional. They kept everything clean. The took pictures in the attic to show me before, during, and after the work. They explained what they were doing and showed me the new ducting they were installing (quiet ducts) and explained the more "up-to-date" way of putting in the duct work than what we had. After the work was complete, we noted that the furnace ran much quieter (due to new ducting), and it ran WAY less often. The house stayed much warmer while running the furnace much less often. Best of all, our gas bill dropped! Now that we're moving into summer, the house seems to be staying cooler on these warm days. We don't have A/C so we're hoping the new insulation will keep the house cooler as the days continue to warm up. Very happy with the company and all the work they did. I would recommend them!"

"Eric Young came to my house to provide a quote to replace my furnace. My usual HVAC guy told me it needed to be replaced. While Eric was checking it out I asked if he could troubleshoot it and tell me why it wasn't working. He said for sure. So, I asked him how much. He said $69. I said do it. In less than 5 minutes he found what was wrong and fixed it! Wow. He told me the romex connector on the motherboard (that my HVAC replaced) was installed backwards so there was no power going to the furnace. That saved me thousands of dollars it would have cost had I listened to my HVAC guy! He's not my HVAC anymore. Eric Young is. He was thorough, efficient and pleasant to work with. I will contact Baker Electric from now on if I ever need their service again. I highly recommend them."
