Kudos to Milton, Jesus, and the other team members for an awesome job. Leaking gas line was replaced with most professional service, being able to turn gas back on at 10:30pm the same day. I highly recommend Do It Right Plumbers for any of your needs!

Edit: We called out another plumbing company. They actually took the time to properly diagnose the problem as a bad thermocouple. What a concept. We opted to replace the whole pilot assembly and the repair was $200 ($80 for the part and 1 hour of labor at $120). If Do It Right had any shame at all they'd refund the $129 they charged (for doing basically nothing!!!) without question, but we'll probably end up disputing the charge. My advice for those looking for a reputable plumbing company is to just look elsewhere. I don't usually do reviews, positive or negative, but I gotta say that I could not be less impressed by this company. My grandson and his roommate (we'll call him "A") were having problems keeping the pilot light lit on the water heater at the house they rent from us, so I told them to call a plumber and I'd deduct the charge from their already minimal rent being as we weren't available to deal with it ourselves. So A randomly calls these guys and they send a plumber out. Now A is supposedly told that there wouldn't be a call out charge but I don't know precisely what was said so, you know, whatever. Anyway, the guy Do It Right sent out re lit the pilot, called it good, and charged $129 for doing so! I'm told that troubleshooting otherwise consisted of looking into the combustion chamber (presumably through the pilot light inspection port and without disassembling anything, since it didn't look to me like the cover had been disturbed at all). Now, charging $129 to teach two relatively unworldly young men how to light a pilot light (even though the instructions for doing so are literally on a sticker affixed to the tank) wouldn't be so bad IF it had been the fix to keep the pilot lit and IF I didn't learn subsequently that Do It Right's standard call out fee is around $50. Then $129 starts to sound like a complete ripoff!!! So, like I previously said, lighting the pilot light was not the fix we were looking for and the next morning the pilot light was out again. And once again the morning after that. By the third day the pilot light wouldn't light at all and that's when I started to become a little indignant. A call into Do It Right to complain on a Saturday between Christmas and New Year found only the answering service available and, since it wasn't a complete emergency, I told them it would be OK for a callback on the first business day in the New Year (Tuesday the 2nd). To their credit (and probably the only positive interaction with this company) I got a callback from Do It Right first thing on Tuesday morning and they were able to find me a slot between 12 and 4pm for someone else to take a look at it. Except he never showed. And I got a call just after 4pm to let me know that not only would he not be coming but they weren't able to reschedule anything until Thursday the 4th. Obviously, I told them to forget it and that we'd find someone else. Oh, and let me also share that the only options offered beyond the $129 fee for lighting the pilot light were complete replacement of the tank with a standard 40 gallon tank for $3200 and a tankless unit for $7500. So you're telling me that aside from the fact that this clown was unwilling to troubleshoot for any other options to keep this tank going, he expected us to pay more than $2k in labor for a tank that probably has a trade price in the $600-900 range. Not on your F'ing life!

They completely redid the plumbing on our 58 year old house. They were FANTASTIC! They explained everything clearly, answered questions, always on time, and worked extremely hard for three days! The job they did was incredible, and I trust this company completely! I highly recommend them!

Where nice and knowledgeable. Even repaired a whole that had nothing to do with the project. Work was fast and clean.

Their first quote was $8,000+ to replace a main waterline. I reacted with disbelief so the guy helping me said, "let me see what I can do." He called the company, and it inexplicably came down to $4,700., but the scope of work remained the same. I reluctantly agreed to $4,700. for them to dig a trench and lay only 15ft of pipe. Then I learned theyâ d be back in 3 days. The next day the plumber who gave me the quote, stopped by and placed a temporary hose (Hi-line) to provide water, which was very kind of him & much appreciated. 2 days later a sub-contractor arrived to burrow a hole under the lawn, they said that their tool was too large and to bore the hole would still rip up the front yard. I had a feeling that would be the case but figured â Do It Right Plumbersâ knew how toâ ¦ â do it right.â Apparently, I was my assumption was incorrect. I contacted the company and told them to please get their plumbers out here and I would dig my own trench while meeting the code requirements. I asked for a revised quote and was told $2,500. A full $5,500+ LESS than the original quote! It took me 4 hours to trench, and later 2 of their plumbers took 3 hours to lay the pipe. Almost an hour of that was cutting a hole into our stucco wall with the incorrect tool. Unfortunately, during the process gravel got into the line and pushed to the last shower fixture in the house, Also, 2 irrigation valves were damaged. I repaired or replaced all 3 myself. They gave me a 50-year warranty on the pipe but provided no paperwork supporting said warranty even after requesting it 4 times. The plumbers were knowledgeable and nice. I do feel the job was done properly, short of allowing gravel in the new mainline, but only time will tell. However, I also believe that had I not known better and accepted the original $8,000+ quote, they would have happily charged me and for that reason I do not trust or would I recommend them. Full disclosure: I have pictures of everything and proof for all I said short of the original verbal quote of $8,000+ dollars. My issue is not with their plumberâ s knowledge or work ethic, but instead the initial willful effort by the company attempt to charge me so much money. To be clear, I am certainly not suggesting that they make it a practice to take advantage of their customers, instead I am saying that is how I personally felt.

The two gentlemen were very professional, explained the process to flush my tankless water heater and performed the process quickly and thoroughly. Did further inspection and made recommendation of other plumbing preventative service needs.

Do It Right Plumbers came out on July 5th and solved the problem the same day. Professional, respectful, prompt and polite. This is an excellent company to work with.

Gunnar J. serviced us. He listened to my explanation of what the problem was and how I had tried to fix it. Then he assessed the need, told me what needed to be done and what the charge would be. It looked like he was careful and conscientious. From what I see, it was done well and neatly. Gunnar made sure everything was working before he left. He was very personable and respectful.

We paid $399 for to unstop a kitchen sink, but he didnâ t get it unstopped. He told us the next step to clear lines would be very expensive and he would need to cut a hole in the wall under our sink. He was here about an hour. We had to call another plumber who came and unstopped my sink in under 25 mins for $200. When I showed him our paper work from Di It Right, he said, â You got ripped off.!â

They saved me a lot of money by partially lining my main sewer line when another plumber said it could not be done. They definitely know their business and are good communicators.

Did the job right.

I would recommend contacting this company if you're having plumbing issues. They communicate the whole way through the process and are great about keeping you informed as they are going. Their staff was very courteous and they took away the stress of the job.

Fast service and good knowledge. The technician Dakota was super nice and explain all the details I need to know before continue with the project.

I had a break in my water main, leaking about a half-gallon per minute (720 gallons/day). By the time the water company inspector left, it was almost noon and I still had to find a plumber. Do It Right Plumbers scheduled me for immediate service, and Dakota was at my home that same afternoon. He restored the water service to my home, while bypassing the water main. This stopped the leak and allowed me and my family to go on with our day as if there was no water main problem. He explained my options and gave me exact prices. A lot of digging was needed, there were complications, and extra labor and hours were needed because the burst pipe was underneath the sidewalk. All of the dirt was shoveled on to protective tarps. When the water needed to be shut off, the down times were really brief. When everything was done, Dakota had not only replaced the water main, but also the water pressure regulator, the hose faucet, and all of the connections and valves. Then he replaced all of the dirt, re-planted the shrubs that had been removed during the job, and left the area looking as if nothing had happened. As for the final price, it was very fair, and exactly as he had quoted---not a penny more! I had a water main break before, and I remember how disruptive, expensive and stressful the last job was. Dakota really took a lot of the pain out of this latest ordeal. As hard as Dakota worked on the job, he worked equally hard to make this job as easy on me and my family as possible. If any future plumbing needs arise, I will be calling Do It Right Plumbers.
