"I had a very positive experience with NRG during the sales process: the people I spoke to were knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and quick to follow up with answers to my questions. That changed as soon as we signed the contract and paid our deposit. Communication became sporadic at best, with each step of the process taking much longer--in some cases many months longer--than what I was told during the sales process. To be fair, there were external factors that contributed to the delays. Our project involves installing new roofing, and apparently several roofing contractors are still backed up after the winter storms in early 2023. But that doesn't explain or excuse the near-total lack of communication or the apparent lack of interest in moving our project forward. It has consistently been a struggle to get even the most basic details from NRG, and I've had to follow up every few weeks just to see if anyone is still working on our project. I can't speak to the quality of their work because no work has been done, or even scheduled, more than seven months after signing. I strongly recommend against working with NRG."

"Come on time and gave me several quotes on couple brand of furnace and size of furnaces. I picked one and work completed in one day on scheduled date. Furnace works well and very satisfied. One issue with company is that it didn't do a home audit to determine the right size fit for the house. I did research and was able to determine one size up was appropriate for my house. Company just wanted to use the same size without asking if I was happy with it. I'm so happy to have upgraded."

"Our AC wasn’t cooling the house properly. I contacted Nathan and he responded promptly the next day at the designated time. He was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. However, he was unable to fix the problem with the AC at that time and informed me he would do some research to try and come up with a solution... he took pictures of the unit and said he would contact me the following day to give an update.. It’s been well over a week and I’ve never heard back. I’ve left messages through Angie’s List and on their office phone. No response. I’m absolutely ok with every other aspect of his service but cannot give a full thumbs up simply because of this odd outcome. If it couldn’t be fixed, fine...we just needed to know so we could move forward with a second opinion and/or purchasing a new unit .. instead we’ve been left in 90+ degree weather not knowing what to do."
