"Overall, it was excellent. Jerry (the owner) came out and was very straight forward as to what needs to be done. Price (compared to 6 other companies) could not be beat. Work was scheduled reasonably quickly and went smoothly. Problems were discovered after installation and when made aware, Jerry and his crew made sincere efforts to set it right – and were able to solve the issues in couple of visits. All of the crew and management went out of their way to ensure that we were satisfied with the work and overall result. Would definitely consider Liberty Plumbing for future work."

"Our replacement went very well. The Carini installation staff were professional and prompt. The job was extremely well done, with special attention made to a complete a very-clean, well-sealed and neat installation, which interfaced nicely with our current distribution ducting. The Supervisor, Dennis was pleasure to work with, he ensured everything was properly engineered and installed. and made sure we were completely satisfied in all aspects with the job. I am very glad that we selected Carini and would definitely recommend them and would use them again."

Hydro jet uses water at 4,000psi to clean the inside of the mainline drain which connects all the home's drains to the city's sewer system.
Using a snake we can go through the cleanouts on the side of the house.
With the cleanouts snaked, and the blockage located, we can send the hydro jet through the sewer vent and flush out the blocked drain.

"I needed an old refrigerator water/ice line properly replaced. Ly’s Plumbing responded quickly and gave an honest assessment before starting the work, then triple checked the final result before patching and cleaning up. I’m very grateful the project turned out to be not too complicated, and also reassured for future projects."

"Victor responded right away to repair a leaking pipe in our yard. While on the premises, he took care of a few other minor issues. He was professional, thorough and kind. His fee was fair. I'll be scheduling him to return after the holidays to complete a larger project for us. I highly recommend Victor's company, Grand Oaks Landscaping, Inc for any irrigation or landscaping project!"

"Luis gave us a fair quote and we had no surprises he did exactly what he said. We needed a French drain to pump water out from our back and front yard. He communicated with us along the way so we know exactly what was going to happen next. I appreciate finding a company with honest, hardworking individuals and we will definitely use them for our next project. I highly recommend Brothers Landscape."

"I called regarding a leaking sprinkler that was behind a giant Bird of Paradise, with water running out the back yard fence.

Kent called back within 10 minutes and sent someone out to provide an estimate the same day.

The initial estimate was $300!  This was to dig into the ground, locate the leak/cracked pipe and cap it.

I was stunned at the price and the estimator, Kolten (Ken's son) then quoted $200.

Their crew of two came the next day and quickly located the leaky pipe, capped it and put everything back together.

They did not do any kind of systems check, just fixed the leaky pipe and assumed all was well. I'm hoping this was the only issue, TBD.

Pros:

Quick response time

Completely repaired the broken pipe

Cons:

Way over priced.

I paid $200 for less than 20 minutes of work and $2 in parts and materials.

My primary care physician doesn't make this kind of money!

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Applying drain cleaner is a common DIY solution to clogged drains, but it can be extremely harmful to your pipes and lead to corrosion and leaks. It is almost always better to try snaking a clog than using a drain cleaner, but the best solution is to hire a professional plumber. They can locate the clog and gauge the severity using a camera system and then decide if using a plumber’s snake, auger, or drain cleaner is the best option to remove the clog and limit damage to your plumbing system.

As with many appliances, proper maintenance is key to maximizing your garbage disposal’s life span. If everyone in your household is on board with proper care and maintenance, like running water while operating the disposal, you should get plenty of years out of your unit. Avoid putting the wrong food items down the disposal, including pasta, rice, bread, and more.

Your sewer line can get grimy quickly. To prevent sludge buildup in your sewer line, pour a mixture of 1/3 cup of vinegar and 1/3 cup of baking soda down each drain in your home once a month. After about 30 minutes, flush the drain with hot water.

Some plumbers recommend 3/4 cup of bleach instead to clean any germs and bacteria that may build up in your sewer line. But this won’t break down any active clogs, and it cannot be combined with vinegar, as the mixture will create a toxic, hazardous gas.

Drain fly problems can go away on their own—but only if the insects find the environment inhospitable. Those with a minor infestation can simply flush their toilets and run their faucets more frequently to flush out the flies and larvae. Others will have to deep clean their drains and set up traps.

Anything you drop down your sink runs the risk of damaging and clogging your pipes. Hair, bits of food, and other debris can catch on the item and build up over time, causing a clog. Even if it’s not valuable, it’s definitely worth trying to retrieve the item, or at the very least, asking a pro for specific advice.
