He answered that same afternoon, and came out to look the next day. He said we could either replace the drywall or simply do a skim coat, that he would do whichever we preferred. We opted to just do a skim coat.
He came back the next day and started working. He's just a very nice guy. He papered the entire walkway to the work area, worked very neatly and put two coats of thin set on that day. Removed the trim around our canned lights before working. He came back just this afternoon, put plastic up over the entire work area, and finished sanding.
Looked great, you can tell Ciro knows what he is doing, and I would use him again if I had any more work.
