First, Ruben gave us the most thorough estimate of any painting contractor we spoke to which was important because there weren't any surprises when he did the job. So the cost he quoted us was the actual cost of the project because he took the time to meticulously measure everything. Ruben also was great with follow through because he knew a storm was coming and he got his team to paint the entire house ahead of schedule to beat the bad weather and he just had to come back to paint the screened porch due to the rain. And he proactively communicated while we went through a few bad weeks of storms when he could not paint the porch but the minute the weather cleared up he proactively told me he was coming to finish the porch. I never had to worry because Ruben communicated well and when he said he would do something he would do what he said. So on top of being a great painter (who is very neat and detail oriented), he is very honest, trustworthy, and punctual. I highly recommend Ruben and his company

"Whitestone Was Amazing!!! we had some plumbing done in our house, The plumber had to damage the walls to get to some plumbing pipes, i was afraid my walls were not going to match with the texture. "Hired Atticare to replace our HVAC ducting and replace all the insulation in the attic (1300 square feet). They were easy to deal with and very responsive. Our account rep Eric G was very pleasant and helped explain everything that needed to be done. I didn't realize that they also did HVAC ducting, and the costs were lower than other quotes we had, so I went for it. Reyes and his crew came right on time at 8 AM and worked non-stop until 4:30. They got a ton accomplished and hauled off all the the old material. They sealed off the areas were rodents may have still been able to get into the house and vacuumed out all the old blown-in insulation. They sanitized the entire area to make sure we were in good shape. The work looks well done and we should be nice and sealed in for our hot hot summers here in Los Angeles - global warming is real ya'll. Los Angeles offers a couple rebates for DWP and So Cal Gas on the attic insulation so in all the new insulation becomes a good deal!

"Our balcony floor had for some reason been previously patched with roofing material that had failed over the years, and was now allowing rain to leak into the garage below. After pulling off the affected garage drywall, we could see that the balcony supporting timber had been seriously damaged, so it was time to call in the professionals! After reviewing local contractors, we called in California Home Center to advise us on what we needed to do to fix this issue. CHC quickly outlined the work needed, and gave us a reasonable price for the work. The first task was to replace all damaged timber, to ensure that we were building on a solid foundation. Next, CHC build a solid multi layer waterproof floor, with all new flashing, where we selected the final texture and paint finish. In order to do all of this work, some of the balcony stucco and garage drywall had to be removed, which was beautifully restored once the work was done, including priming and painting. The work took around 2 and a half weeks to do from start to finish, and we are delighted with the results! I would recommend CHC for any building work that you need done on your house based on our experience with them!
