"This was an amazing experience. The carpet came out looking like new and I had planned to replace it before I decided to try cleaning. The person doing the service was very courteous, even added a section I had not described before, and was meticulous about getting all the corners and small spaces. Some of the stains have reappeared but I understand that is what happens when the brighteners wear off. There seems to be no way to fix that other than dyeing the carpet ... a service also provided by this company."

"Contractor was totally unfamiliar with my Carrier system's unique features.  This unfamiliarity caused him to reach some initial incorrect diagnoses.  After working though these issues, he did eventually find a leak in the condensing coil.  He spent a significant amount of time trouble-shooting the system and did not give up until he found the problem.  The coil was under warranty.  This contractor said that he could not fix the system under the warranty because the original installer had to perform the work.  He did give me a quote for doing the work if I did not want to have the work performed under the warranty. His labor price was significantly higher than the original installers repair labor price.  I chose to have the original installer to perform the repair. "

"A-maze-ing. These guys were GREAT - I won't be calling anyone else in the future. First, they spoke to the woman in the house exactly as they did to the man - no dumbing it down for the ladies. Physically showed me what was going on and explained it well so I understood what was needed and why. They let me know which repairs needed to be done immediately and which could wait - no hard upsell at any point. They set reasonable expectations for what improvement I could expect with each step. Polite, friendly and helpful, showed up well within the estimated window. Before each visit I got a text with the name and picture of the tech who was on their way and a phone call from them to confirm. In 5 visits I worked with only 2 point people, meaning they weren't having to start from zero every time someone walked in. They charge by the job, not the hour, meaning the work was done quickly, but with quality. I had someone I know take a look at the work and they said everything looked very well-done. After each step they followed up with me by phone to find out if I wanted/needed anything else. In short, I had a shockingly great experience with them and can't recommend them highly enough."

"I contacted Alltech Solutions, Inc., for a swamp cooler repair. The water was not reaching the cooler, and it was very, very hot in my home, and my backup, room-sized AC units didn't even phase the 100+ temps outside. They kindly scheduled me on the Friday just prior to the Memorial Day Weekend, since I called them on Thursday. I wasn't expecting that they could fit me in for the next day, but they did. The technicians I met were extremely polite and cordial, and very quick and competent in resolving what the issues were -- no fuss, no fanfare. The price was very good as well. My house is now completely comfortable even with heat in the 100's! Many thanks!!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
