"Adding a second story was a major job, but the way this team handled the engineering aspect gave us complete confidence. They were extremely open about the load-bearing requirements and did not cut any corners. I was particularly impressed by the site supervisor, who accompanied us through the framing stage to demonstrate how they were connecting to the original roofline."

"Working with Scott and Cactus Nectar has been fantastic! We had several projects going simultaneously, from interior paint to exterior landscaping/turf install, to a major renovation with exterior door installation. All of the employees and subcontractors who have come through have been respectful, communicative, and the quality of work has been of the absolute highest standard. After our painting was complete our neighbors came over, after just having had their home painted by another company, and were so impressed by the quality of work that they asked for our contractors contact info, since the results were so much better than theirs! We will definitely continue to use them, and have a couple more projects planned already!"

"Adam and his crew are extremely knowledgeable, experienced and customer focused. When doing a remodel project there are unknowns as you peel away the layers, Adam and his crew guided us through these surprises and sometime unsettling issues with common sense and practical decisions. We started this project just before the COVID19 virus, and it was not known what effect it would have on our project. There were some delays due to the COVID19 virus but Adam guided us through with proper notification and rescheduling of manufacturing and delivery dates due to virus issues. Thanks Adam and your crew GR8 Job!"

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts.
