"From the moment I contacted Envision Painting I had a very pleasant experience. Kimberly the office manager did research and recommended a Rustoleum Porch and Deck paint from Dunn Edwards. She went above and beyond and contacted Dunn Edwards, spoke to a gal there, gave her my name and told her that I would be going there to look at the paint and pick out my colors. When I got to Dunn Edwards the person was expecting me, helped me immediately and I was out in just a few minutes. On the day that I was to have the job performed Alan the crew chief came and spoke to me and explained that it was going to rain in a few short hours (which it did) and recommended we postpone the job until a few days later. He came on the specified day, applied the paint and waited until the paint sufficiently dried to apply a second coat. He did a meticulous job to my satisfaction. He was very professional, on time and very customer oriented. This was not my first time using Envision Painting. They painted my home about 6 mos. ago and again did an excellent job. I am very very picky and I can't say enough about how they assured me that they were going to please me and they definitely did an excellent job as well as provided excellent customer service. "I sent out for bids to 5 Angieslist "A" rated painting companies.  James was one of four that bid, and one of only two who actually came to the home to personally inspect the job. After carefully reviewing all of our quotes we decided to work with James. His bid was not the lowest, however, we felt most comfortable with him based on his lifetime experience as a professional painter, the quality of the paints he proposed, his knowledge of the processes, etc. He's very personable and I learned that both his father and grandfather before him were full-time painting professionals. And I really enjoyed the fact that he brought his son Nelson with him, as it was Nelson's first day of summer vacation. Truly a family affair!

James arrived on the day and at the time agreed upon. His team was very careful in prep. Even though this was exterior painting they took great precautions to protect everything such as the cool-deck, outdoor furniture, neighbor's adjoining walls, etc

As a long term valley residents (me 50+ years, my wife 3rd generation native) we've had a lot of exterior painting done. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Even though our original plans were to just paint the fence now and then repaint our entire 2-story home in about a year or two, we're moving forward with doing the home now, and we are using James Horn and his team to do it.

"I called Marcel Painting three weeks ago and a nice person came out.  Received an estimate of $975.00.  Since the holidays were coming I wanted to complete the work as I was busy.  They did not arrive until today, which is November 26 at 7:30 A.M.  They cancelled yesterday.  After they arrived they left to purchase the stain, starting the job around 8:30 A.M.  They used the polyurethane we had in the garage.  They masked off the windows and applied stain.  They left about noon.  About 2 PM a third person arrived from Marcel Painting wanting to match the stain; I explained the workers had already completed the work.  When my son called from Rhode Island (he is a painter there) he could not believe we paid $975.00 for two men to stain four posts, light trim work and the front door.  Said this is more than EXCESSIVE!  Breaks down to about $278 per hour.  The painters were pleasant but the cost was too much.  Is this the same company as Marcel Painting, LLC in Scottsdale?  The contract I signed says Marcel Painting (no LLC)  in Tempe, Az. with salesman David Pacheco.

"Only good things to say about this company. Francis and his crew were friendly, easy to communicate with and did a great job painting the exterior of our cedar home. Our house is over 40 years old and the knots in the wood were really drying up, not looking very good at all using semi transparent stains. This time we switched to paint and I’m so relieved to say it looks great with the siding all one color, not much different than the color the house was before.
