"Hired John Shaw to paint the complete exterior of my home, perimeter and pony walls. There was obvious peeling in a few places on my facia board and eves, and the bid was to include stucco texture repair on the perimeter and pony walls. When the job was complete, I had to point out so many missed areas of paint and overspray. After a full day of “touch-ups” the job was still not completed. Many areas of the facia board and eaves were not properly prepped for painting. The stucco texture on the walls was applied carelessly without any attempt to match the existing texture. They got elastomeric and stucco mortar on my patio, walkway, and pool deck. There were paint chips all over my yard. There was paint on so many things that should not have been painted (my $1500 pool pump, pool filter housing, hose bibs (not painted completely, just sprayed), light sockets, windows, roof tiles, and patio furniture. I feel completely disrespected by their lead painter, and let down by John Shaw junior and senior, who said multiple times they were going to make it right, then fail to schedule. They are essentially liars. Painting is about detail, and John Shaw has no attention to detail."
