"This was the second company I had come look at the leak in my toilet. The first one I thought was expensive. However he only wanted to replace the wax ring for the toilet for $600. So I contacted Angie's list and they sent out master router who to my surprise said I had a major problem in my home. That my walls had too much moisture and it was dangerous. The master bathroom supposedly had 100% humidity and the guest bathroom varied from 27 to 47% humidity. That was supposed to be very dangerous. They said my flange was below the tile level which they said was not right. I have since found out that is incorrect. I had not asked them to check out the master bathroom but they had me extremely concerned that I was living in a hazardous situation. Before I knew it, my guest bathroom was completely gutted and my master bathroom was partially gutted. A restoration company called copperstate came in on their tails and had me even more concerned about what was going to happen in my home.I erroneously thought they were under Angie's list also. I can't complain about the quality of the work from master router because it was good I was just not prepared to do $20,000 worth of repairs to my home. Especially since it was not needed from what the previous company had said. My insurance company is no longer responding and has paid only a portion of what things have cost me. and so I have now had to fork out nearly $20,000 and my master bathroom is still not finished. I do have to admit that they did find an issue with the repair done by Roto-Rooter in 2018 but that should not have cost me the kind of repairs that master router forced me to have done. I would not have had to have two major bathrooms gutted. I have not told him about things like the bubbler that they cut nor that I still am not happy with the cement repair but I am concerned because I've complained about him the cement several times. I'm afraid they won't ever make it any better. I would like it if master router could give me a partial refund because it would never have cost me this kind of money if they had just repaired the toilet the way the other company recommended. The toilet in the guest bathroom still has its original symptoms from the problem that the contractor was supposed to fix."

"My experience with Kinetico has been outstanding. Mike the installer was excellent, including arriving within the time window I had been given. He listened to my concerns about placement of the unit, answered all my questions, and gave me instructions on operation. Not that there is much for me to do! Another contractor doing work here on a separate project noticed how well the copper pipe had been installed. All the staff who dealt with the project were personable and knowledgeable and responded in a timely way to my requests and questions. Thank you to all."

Due to fact I was explicit with the details of the job requested, a quote could of been provided over the phone before setting an appointment from competitive plumbing contractors. To keep costs down, I had to limit the plumber to repairing/replacing the toilet tank water line (old bidet water line adapter was stuck and unable to disconnect), so I had to complete the installation of the new bidet onto the toilet bowl myself, which took less than 5 minutes... but saved me an additional $200+!"

"8/27/25 ? RIP OFF!!! I received a quote over the phone for $150.00 to replace a kitchen faucet. This owner bought a new faucet from Lowes prior to the appt. When the technician arrived, he said it would cost $480.00. Then the plumber lowered the price to $250.00. The office denied giving the original quote. On on the following day, another plumber did the job the following for $158.00. "

"Initially, Alec from AMP contacted me immediately after I put out the request. He also came out to my residence and had no problem speaking the with insurance adjuster who was at my home at the same time. He promptly provided a straightforward estimate. We decided to hire AMP and they accepted. We had some additional questions regarding the estimate and wanted to add to same. Alec's partner (and father) Mike came out to inspect our damaged rooms. A revised estimate was provided. More conversation was initiated regarding the estimate and Mike indicated that he had no idea that our repair was involved in an insurance claim. Apparently that changed everything. Why? We have no idea. Since that conversation all communication with AMP ceased. A follow up call led to nothing as well. If they did not want to accept the job we could have hired another company much sooner. I would not recommend this company based on the lack of professionalism."
