We are a new owner operated fencing company in the Valley, I have been in the Construction Industry for over 15 years and have learned how to operate from working with one of the largest contractors in the US. As a teenager, every summer I would build fences in Texas for my families company and thought that I would always come back to it. My family has had Accurate Fence company for 3 generations starting with my grandfather. I'm committed to delivering a quality product and building solid fences. We want to make our clients satisfied so that they will tell other people about the work we do.

"The job was done to my utmost satisfaction. Julian was prompt, thorough and professional. My wife and I could not be any happier with his work and his integrity. We will definitely use this company again should the need arise. I’ve attached before and after pictures to show the wonderful workmanship provided to us. Great job!!!"

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

If you decide to add a fence that will border your neighbor’s property, you should let them know in advance—but you can’t make your neighbor pay for the fence. In some locations, like California, you both might be responsible for fence repair costs or maintenance unless other documented agreements are made.

The distance between fence posts is guided by the terrain you’re installing them on, the purpose of the fence, and the material it’s made of. For the average wooden garden fence, posts should be about 6 to 8 inches apart. But if you’re going with a mesh, wire, lattice, or chain link fence, you could set the fence posts anywhere from 6 to 25 feet apart.

You may wonder if you need a permit to build a fence at your home. It varies by where you live. Some cities and counties have laws that require you to obtain a permit to construct your fence. Needing a permit may depend on the size of the fence and the materials you’re using. Check with your local building inspection department or zoning department to determine whether you need a permit. Having to take the steps to obtain a permit can increase the timeline for how long it takes to build a fence.

There’s no definitive answer to this question because dog owners and experts are conflicted about the efficacy and morality of electric fences. However, physical fences are typically considered a better option since they provide guaranteed containment for your pup, provided they are tall enough, and your dog can’t dig under them. Physical fences can also provide privacy, which might stop your dog from barking at people or animals walking by. Physical dog fences tend to be more expensive, but most homeowners find them to be a better option overall.

The maximum recommended slope on which you can build a racked or stepped fence is 45 degrees. After that, construction becomes quite tricky and may require the use of retaining walls or terraces to make the fenced area flatter.
