"Cory and Colton arrived on the time schedule, did a survey on the apartment and quickly started moving the furniture. They were very professional and did the best they could to finish as early as possible."

"I absolutely love this company. Moving can be very stressful however Camelback Moving always put me at ease. I used them for a 2 part business move and each time I did the scheduling, Mary was always very responsive and eager to help. The 2nd part was the biggest move with two stops and even though there were some issues with one of the stops, the 4 guys (Pedro (Peter), Clyde, Ruben & Ahli) never complained and helped me to figure things out. With both moves I was always amazed at how quickly the process was completed and its because they hire experienced and organized employees! I will always recommend this company to anyone and everyone for any moving needs!"

"THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT. I just moved 15 months ago, so I had a reference between the wy it shouldn't be done and how Northstar did it. I felt absolutely comfortable every step of the wy because of their professionalism. They came to my place and provided a fixed price move, which was in the middle of the four quotes I got, and the only one were someone visited me. The people that picked my furniture up were ON-TIME, professional, and wrapped everything in a way to assure no damage. Same on the delivery, ON-TIME, professional, and cleaned up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!"

"Kings moving services is best in what they do. They are very friendly, kind and extremely professional in their services. Most of all they care about your belongings and ensure itâ s cared and delivered in quality. David is such a pleasure to work with. He is very accommodative of the changes. I was clueless and kept on changing and adding items to my list and David was very patient to take care of all my needs. The people who came to pick up stuff came home on time and did a very clean job. My things were delivered in mint condition and the movers were very patient and assembling and delivering them in the right places in my home. If you are doing a local or long distance move, I would highly recommend kings moving services. Mine was a long distance move and kings moving did a fantastic job.. thanks David and kings moving for your best work. Thanks so much."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Transporting a fully-grown tree requires heavy equipment, typically specialized for the task. A tree spade is a truck-mounted tool that removes the tree from the ground in one location, transports it, and places it in a new hole in a new location. A combination of mechanized shovels and lifts is necessary to move very large trees, and the exact tools often depend on location and the surrounding area.

The most expensive part of moving is hiring professional movers. However, hiring a pro is more efficient and less stressful, so many people find the cost worth it. You’ll also spend a lot of money on packing supplies, including boxes, tape, and bubble wrap, so ask around to see if any friends or family members have old supplies you can use for free.

Yes, it is cheaper to move yourself than to hire professional movers. The average DIY move costs $120 to $2,300, while professionals cost $890 to $2,570 on average or up to $12,000 for the longest distances. While you’ll save on the cost of professional labor with a DIY move, you’ll spend more time and energy packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and unpacking.

Although it's one of the most beautiful places to reside, there are some cons to consider. The cost of living is higher, and it's one of the most expensive states to live in.

If you have pets, you will have to put them through a quarantine program that can last up to four months. Plus, there is potential for natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions and hurricanes.

Before hiring a moving company to help you with your move, there are a few things you will want to ask, including:

  • Is there anything your company won’t move?

  • Does workers’ compensation cover the crew?

  • Will you disassemble and reassemble the furniture?

  • Are there packing restrictions?

  • Can you guarantee my delivery date?

  • Can you provide references?

  • What do you charge extra for?

  • What is your cancellation policy?
