Called and scheduled a consultation. He no shows. Call to see what’s doing on and no answer. Surprised he gets an A on here.

They were good. They have good customer service and they pay attention to detail.

Price went up over the years a bit.

They were really good. They were great. Quality, punctuality, the whole deal. They were great. Yes, and I did in November of 2016. They were wonderful. Very professional, great price. They answered all the questions. Just anything you expect when you hire anybody. They exceeded it.

Shawn took the time over the phone to explain the pros/cons (pretty much all cons!) of the electronic door which was extremely informative and things I hadn't thought about. He also went the extra step of giving me several training tips to try and help train my dog to use the existing door, which she is very afraid of. Even though I didn't purchase anything today, if I ever needed another dog door I would definitely call Shawn again! Thank you Shawn for taking time out of your day for a non-paying customer - I truly appreciate your level of customer service!!

Excellent. The tech came, he was on time, performed the services and it looks awesome. Prior to the appointment there was a mix up with the appointments on their end. They rescheduled the other client and our appointment went off without a hitch. Definitely would call them again or refer them to others.

This was the second time I used them. Three years ago he put in two doggy doors for me.

the gentleman was great very professional from the first phone call till the job was done he was amazing he explained everything to us and then did the work it looks great and I would use him again.

This guy is AWESOME!!! Not only did he install the pet doors, he also weather proofed any cracks with caulk to make sure it was sealed all the way around. Laid down drop cloths, cleaned up when he was done. AND he is half the price of other providers of the same service. A++++ can't recommend highly enough!!

It went great. Even though pricing on pet doors and installation fees are pretty consistent, they stopped by a couple of days early to be sure that the door I wanted would fit where I wanted it. That made me feel like I had chosen the right company. My pet door was installed through a framed wall with siding on the outside. An old (old house) telephone line in the wall had to be capped off and that was included in the installation fees. It looks great, it can be locked, and my dog loves it. Thanks so much.

Excellent service, product, and business. He was super responsive, prompt and courteous. I had a conflict and couldn't make it home in time to meet him when he arrived to install. He graciously worked with my teenager and our 2 dogs. I came home to find them all happy and thrilled with the new dog door! I highly recommend Desert Star Pet Doors!

Analyzed options and provided a large selection of materials and locations best for our house. We planned to do an in-glass door installation but after further review, we decided for the less expensive In-wall installation of an (XL) JGM door for a 95lb dog. Eric moved electrical wires and outlet, but we now have the best location thanks to his input. Now, several weeks later we are very happy with the look, quality and service Eric provided. Thanks Eric....

The product was of very high quality, just as Eric had stated to me. He called before he came, arrived on time, was courteous and friendly, and interacted with our 3 dogs. He was very skilled and precise at his job and laid out drop cloths to keep our floor clean. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He was a true professional.

Shawn came out and installed a JGM pet door in my new home. I called him before the install and we discussed the various options regarding which pet door to choose, etc. Shawn arrived as expected and was very polite and professional.He did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends.

Mark arrived on time and proposed a solution even simpler than what we had expected. His work was meticulous and clearly cares about doing things the right way. I wish we would come across more service providers in other industries like this. We highly recommend and will use again if the need arises.

Oh my gosh. Eric was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and priced well! He came to my house about 2 weeks and we decided on installing the dog door through glass (patio door). Eric took all of the measurements, explained how it's done, and measured again for accuracy. I gave him a small deposit to get the ball rolling, and he returned this morning to complete the installation. He removed the glass panel from the patio door and replaced it with the new glass, which had a corner cut out for the doggie door. The glass panel and the doggie door fit PERFECTLY. It didn't take him long at all to complete the work, cleaned everything up, washed the glass, and put my old glass panel into the garage for me in case I ever move and want to take the dog door with me - I can just have the old panel put back in. I can't say enough about what a breath of sunshine he was to work with!

I had a very positive experience with this company. The work is top notch and fair priced. I was especially impressed at the level of knowledge with regard to putting in a door near an electrical outlet, under a window, near a stud, etc. The door looks great, our doggie is very happy too. Would definitely, definitely recommend. Don't fall into that trap of only sticking with the guys who have the most reviews.

Very pleased with the whole experience. Called ahead letting me know what time the installer would arrive. The actual install was completed within 2 hours and the quality of the door is exceptional. The installer was neat and efficient.

Shawn was prompt and after contacting him, we had something set up for that following weekend. I had to reschedule the first time due to a family emergency but he was accommodating and considerate. He came in, walked me through the doggie door install, told me what was wrong with the previous one. He was quick, clean, and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking to install a new or existing doggie door. My dogs were are so happy with their new door. At first, they were in awe and would not go through the door because it was so clean and new. They are able to come in and out without any issues.

Shawn made a special trip out to determine what size of door I needed and to help me find a place for it. He was great and knew just where it should go. We scheduled for him to come back and do the install and it went very smoothly! He was great with my dog and you can tell he loves his job. Left everything very clean and tidy which is a huge deal! Very high quality door. After house hunting for months and seeing all the sad looking doggie doors I knew I wanted one to be proud of and one that would not be leading air! These doors are expensive, but they are the best. They will not leak air out the door and are very easy to secure.

It went extremely well. My first appointment with Shawn was on a Thursday. I had already bought an electronic dog door to have installed, but after a quick inspection Shawn realized the door I bought would not fit in the location I had selected to install the door (The company which sold the door mislabeled the dimensions on their website). Shawn was able to contact a local fabricator and have a new door ordered on a rush. He returned on Saturday and installed the door in about an hour. It completely solid and well sealed. I would highly recommend his work to anyone.
