AZ Dog Doors

Bernie from AZ Dog Doors did a fantastic job installing our two dog doors. He did the first our door in 2005 and the second door today. Both times he did a Fantastic job. Bernie was punctual and was extremely professional during the install. I recommend AZ Dog Doors!

Bernie was great! He offered a number of options with regard to size and quality over the phone and sent pictures of installed doors. He explained the differences in the build quality of the various door brands. Bernie showed up on time and was very friendly during the work. He discussed his experience and background building houses as he laid out the plan to install the door in different locations. The work was done quickly and he cleaned up after he was done.

Bernie is very professional, punctual and pays attention to detail.  He is a machine. 
He made the process look very easy and it all has to do with how much experience he has installing these type of doors.  Before you buy a door or even if you are just thinking about installing one, give him a call first. 
I made the mistake of buying a door first.  Then after I talked to him and saw the product he has to offer, I went with his recommendation.

Excellent service! Bernie was responsive to our inquiry and arrived at the house at the scheduled time. He got straight to work and talked us through the process. Door installation was a breeze and our pup couldn't be happier. Price quoted is the price paid. Great value!

Bernie did an immaculate job. He is very knowledgeable, and it's easy to tell he has a lot of experience. He was punctual and professional and cleaned up beautifully after he was finished. We couldn't be happier.

He showed up on time with a couple of doors to choose from. Decided on a location and the door was going through
the block wall. It was installed quickly ( about 2 hours ), looks great, carpet on inside with 2 magnetic flaps. Cleaned up
completely and showed us how it works and how to maintain.. Very happy with the job and dogs love it . Extra flap helps keep the heat our and the extra dirt and dust.

Very responsive, and quick to make an appointment. Bernie was on time, and very professional. The door looks great and he gave me some great tips to get the dog used to a double flap door. Quality work and very clean when he left. I highly recommend him for installation, and would use him again in the future.

Very impressed with attention to detail. It wasn't a slipshod install or even a good install. It was exceptional. They have specialized tools and templates and parts to do the job right. He actually install 2 separate dog doors. One on the inside and one on the outside. Connected with a custom tunnel. This assures a weather tight seal.
Due to variances in my wall thickness he had to modify the install to avoid gaps between the walls and trim pieces. He took the time to do it right where most would have just caulked the gaps. He also made sure to not cut or modify any of the electrical circuits close by.
Definitely worth the money.

Though AZ Dog Doors is a secondary business for Bernie (he has a full-time job elsewhere), he is responsive and professional. I asked for information and quotes from Bernie and two other dog door companies. Bernie gave me recommendations and alternate pricing. The Security Boss door we purchased is the top of the line, beyond the more popular Hale Door. Bernie's price with installation was less than a comparable quote for only a Hale Door with installation. Bernie is a machinist by trade, and his attention to detail and quality shows in his work. He helped us decide on the best location for the dog door, and he went right to work. It's obvious that he has a great deal of experience and expertise installing dog doors. His work was excellent, and he cleaned up so well afterward that it didn't even look as if work had been done. I would highly recommend Bernie to anyone who needs a dog door installed. The product and the value of the installation will be well worth it.

Bernie, the installer, was on time and did a great job. Also what I like is he insulates around the pet door in the wall so the heat stays out of the house in the hot summer months.

I found Bernie when I was trying to find a doog door that went through my wall and had two flaps but that was not plastic or bulky. I saw the add for Arizona Dog Doors and called to leave a message. He called me back within and hour or so in spite of the fact that it was a holiday weekend, and he asked about what I needed/wanted. When I explained, he told me what installed and how he customized the solution. It was exactly what I wanted. In spite of the holiday he made an appointment and came out in two days. He was only a few minutes late in spite of the drive, installed the door exactly where I wanted it and how he had indicated he would, and then cleaned up after himself. The installation included the two doors, custom wall fitting and intallation through the wall and did not cost that muh more than the doors themselves . I am very pleased with the whole experience.
